I like mnit jaipur environment and campus.
I like the connectivity of mnit jaipur from city.
Hostels of mnit jaipur are also very good .

Dislikes

I don't like strict timing and rule on gates of mnit .
Also schedule of mnit is too hectic,there are classes from 8 am to 6 pm .

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose metallurgy engineering because It was the best branch I was getting in mnit jaipur and there is lot of free time in metallurgy to do other stuff.I think course can be taught in more practical manner.

Internships Opportunities

Students can go for internship in fourth and sixth semester respectively . Companies which come for internship are Amazon, Google , jp Morgan, tata steel . I don't know more about internship as I am in first year .

Placement Experience

Placements of mnit jaipur is very good . From 3rd year companies start recruiting. Amazon , Flipkart,jp Morgan, Oracle are some of big companies that visited mnit. Average package in 2023 was 1320000 and highest package was 64 lpa . percentage of students getting placed is 80 %.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees including hostel , tution and institute fees is around 120000 per semester. There is scholarship available on basis of parents income ,I got 2/3 remission on tution fees as my parents income is in between 1 to 5 lakh .

Campus Life

There are many events in mnit jaipur but sphinx and blitzschlag are the big fests of mnit . Sphinx is largest fest in Rajasthan ,it happens in 3 days . There are projectors in every classroom of mnit . Sports facilities are good enough with every equipment ,court and grounds.There are many clubs in mnit which organises activities in campus .

Hostel Facilities

Hostes of mnit jaipur are good ,they are more cleaner than what I have expected them to be .There is LAN facility provided in every room ,in first year 3 students have to live in single room . Mess food is good enough to eat and healthy .

Hostel Fee: INR 64000 per year

Admission

I took admission after csab counseling on basis of my obc rank .Rank required for admission in metallurgy is around 45000 for obc category. Admission process was hectic but seniors guided us really well .

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
