College is good it has good and greenery environment.
Faculty are strict , campus life is not good

There are lots of subject's which i dont like at all..
Good Faculty for a subject is jst 1-2 also some faculty very strict they will never understand the query
Course are good but all the courses reading same things that i dont like cse students should have more previllage

All the course are good enough we learnt different coding languages like C, data structure, java, python and many more wich is very usefull for the placement and other subjects like data science, artificial intelligence, discrete structure also we have the seminars for improving our communication skills and in a interview how to behave and give ur best exams are not that much tuff if we read well.....

Yeh there soo many scholarship for all the caste peoples. My complete course id around 9 lakhs per annum , scholarships available are E-medhabruti , labour card , post- matric and many more no i didn't take yet job roles because iam in second year and this is my learning stage yeh i got award in Sankalp which is the biggest function in nist also win the cash price and also awrderdprice at various craft activities ....

Yes there are lots of technical festival one of the biggest technical festival of the nist is Sankalp here we can show case our talent and win the cash prices by playing different games and doing technical works , yes there are lots of sports like kabbadi, betminton, cricket, tennis, kho-kho , basketball also we have separate place for sports yes club activities built our confidence

Hostel Facilities

Here hostel rooms are good enough but the rooms are somehow small in size we provided by one bed , pillow , and cub bord. Meal quality is not good it is very unhealthy very oils which can cause gastric , hostel fess is 2700 and every month extra money for mess meals around foure thousand

Admission

We can take admission through JEE entrance exam and OJEE xam., minimum we have to bought 60% in jee or ojee and for cse the eligibility 10th and 12th certificate required. Per year fees is 1.24 lakh and who staying at hostel their fess is extra 2700 and monthly around 4k for mess charges. What i observed the our papers are tuff than previous year paper but if we read well we get the good marks....

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Life at NIST

As i didn't score much in my entrance exams I had to opt for tier 2-3 colleges from which as i am from odisha and many of my realtives and friends suggested NIST University. My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
