Likes

The involvement in club/ committees/ cells work gives exposure to real life problems.
Mess food is way beyond good and healthy.
Sports committe is always active making the campus cheerfull.

Dislikes

We don't have an auditorium. We find it difficult to organize any activity.
Campus is situated far away from city, making it difficult to access the market.
Placement is affected due to location, as Kashipur doesn't have an airport.

Course Curriculum Overview

The analytics course in IIM Kashipur is quite well designed for the trending market. Now market is driven through data and Analytics course consists of some courses which teaches us how to utilise data for our benefit.

Internships Opportunities

We have a wide range of internship opportunities with the highest stipend of 1.5 Lakhs. Starting from September, the companies start to come for internships till February. Various roles are offered for the internship.

Placement Experience

The current market situation is down as compared to two years back. Our super seniors are placed in high-paying companies. But after that, the placement scenario dropped due to COVID. Currently average package is 15 Lakhs. Most of the company comes for the role of marketing.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 18 lakhs. Apart from this 20,000 mess fee for every semester. The scholarship is provided in the university on three grounds: Merit Basis, Need cum merit basis, and Need basis. The placement office provides an ample amount of live projects, through which a student can earn while doing the course.

Campus Life

Our campus is located between greeneries which gives us a catalyst environment to nurture ourselves. This is a student-run campus. Therefore involving in clubs/ committees/ cells gives exposure to practical learning as well. We have a good infrastructure providing us with all the basic amenities.

Hostel Facilities

We have a residential campus and our hostel block is quite close to our academic block, say walking distance. In the first year we have got double sharing room allowing us to grow networks. We are provided with a Washing Machine, Oven, Water filter, Running hot water, Cooling Radiator, and all other basic facilities.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

First we have to give CAT exam which consists of three papers: Quantitive Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Verbal ability. After clearing the cut off one needs to sit for PI round if the call comes from any IIM or CAP. Clearing the PI round, one is selected for the deserving IIM. CAT exam should be given a bit less weightage.

Interview Experience

Before COVID, there used to be Group discussions or extempore after clearing CAT paper, but in my time only Personal interview was conducted which consisted of 2 panellists. My interview went around general knowledge and work experience.

A peaceful college life,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was very good. The specialization which I chose was a very new concept and this university provides that particular specialization. The teaching methods were also very good with experienced teachers and weekly presentations also with different assignments.

Uttaranchal University is a gemstone!!

Placement Experience:

In digital marketing nearly 90% it the students are placed in top startup companies like the Boat, Minimalist and all who needs digital presence to sell their products. Jobs offered are of 50-80k a month and for MBA freshers this is a kind package.

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

Placement Experience:

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Insights of the college through student eye

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

The IIM of the North

I found the admission process easier (Level Medium on Difficulty scale). The process started with the CAT application form, then the CAT exam, followed by a call letter for an Interview and then the selection email. ALL ABOUT IIM KASHIPUR

No, specifically I haven't received any counselling related to IIM Kashipur or other IIM institutes. But the first advantage I saw was there were a lot of industries visit the IIM Kashipur campus.
