Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is vast and is more bent towards theoretical approach while it should be more prioritising towards practical experience. For improvement i would suggest having more practical classes than theoretical classes and the frequency of exams is just fine as per schedule.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities in college are about topics like VLSI,Data structure,Embedded System,Iot etc. the internship in college do not provide stipend and for stipend providing internships can only be applied from 3rd year onwards.
Placement Experience
The placements are not so bad. Some good companies do come for recruitment like Accenture, Cognizant, Western Digital,Knowledge Lens etc. The average offer is 2.5-3.5lpa and the highest offered is 21lpa. We have about 80% placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for the first year of my batch was 123000 and 121000 for the rest of the years totalling about 5 lakhs. This fee structure includes tuition fees and traveling fees. Scholarship offers are not provided by school but have to be applied in state portal or national portal.
Campus Life
The campus life is good and fun. The campus itself is beautiful and the events organised are fun to attend. The annual event is called as sankalp it is a 2-day event and minor club events and workshops keep being organized once in a month.
Admission
The admission process is smooth and the application form can be filled online but for smoother transaction and credibility visiting the campus is what I would suggest. The admission is done in the administrative building of nist.
