The best reasons to choose vit (life changing experience)

I chose CSE since I am a data science aspirant and the courses offered here for the CSE students are amazing There is wide variety from operating systems , computer networks, DBMS , machine learning, NLP , computer architecture, theory of computation, IOT etc all of these subjects are very very crucial for every cse aspirant,. The faculty here are mostly PhD holders and many are IIT ians as well they encourage and support in making real world projects , patents , research papers and also can get a chance to work on government projects Their are 3 major exams every semester including final sem exam . One is closed book and one is open book and the final exam is closed book again As for labs there are seperate practical exams which consists of both small assessment, assignment and final exam The exams are difficult since this is an engineering course so you have to put in effort, but if you listen to clases on a daily basis and just make notes the exams would seen very easy

Microsoft: 1 lpa approx Fidelity: 70k Amd Intel Marvell Etc and many more Each one of them had stipends approx 50k and more with ppo conversions There were more than 50 internship offers in the last 5 months for pre final year students including all branches

From the beginning of 4th year in a 4 year btech CSE degree students are eligible for placement so if we see students get almost one academic year for placement opportunities with all big and small companies as per personal capabilities For the past years there were 800+ companies and even during recession there were 400+ companies with avg packagebof 5 lpa that's an amazing feat , also college helps to get discount rates in global certification like Google cloud , AWS , ml etc Vit has almost 88 percentage+ placement rate due to good. Courses and opportunities, students in these 4 years are trained very well such that they would get placed I plan to sit for placement and get a data science offer after my degree

I am not completely aware of detailed fee structure but it can pe paid in installments and usually the cost of living and studies is based on you VITEEE rank and fee category. If you get the lowest fee category I e. 2 lakhs then it depends on your hostel accommodation sinc there are both ac and non AC rooms ranging from 50 thousand to 1.20 lakhs per year There are ample internship opportunities with very high stipends.even in lakhs And with PPOs as well

There are two major fests in college namely TECHNOVIT AND VIBRANCE ( I AM FROM VIT CHENNAI BRANCH) the facilities are at par , seriously if anyone in vit can make time and use all of their labs and libraries no one could stop them in achieving 30+ lpa package. There are very advanced labs for every branch including civil , mechanical and everything , there is a 4 floor library whichbis open till midnight ehichbis verh helpful during exams with all kinds of books , magazine and researches Classrooms have mics , speakers so that teachers don't have to shout and including smartboadrs , whiteboards for markers , blackboards for chalk , There are more than 100 clubs in vit including govt clubs like NSS and all sports and social clubs like physcology and a club representing evey state of India ex: Marathi club , bengal literacy club etc

The hostels are cleaned many times a day The washrooms are cleaned 3 times a day , everyday they come personally to each and every room and brokm and mop the floors even the corridors, considering the size of hostel i.e. 17 floors and 50 rooms on each floor everything is handled extremely well The mess food is good sometimes you won't like it but it's fine considering there are 3000+ students. In the hostel , there are 4 mess in one hostel and also 3 night mess which are open till 2 at night , which also include a fruit juice shop at affordable prices starting from 20 rs for a glass of juice they would also sell raw fresh fruits There are 5 vending machines in the ground floor of hostel which are refilled everyday with juice cans sweets and chips etc Hostel registration is done after admission online payment, there are many pgs around and also TATA HOMES colony where students can live nearby there are ample transport facilities even if you live far

The admission is purely based on the VITEEE exam rank of every individual the first few thousand students get their preference as Vellore and next chennai then in amravati and bhopal . The applications form and dates can be found directly on the official website of VIT Fee structure is known upon after giving the exam in be since there are many categories of fees in mybased on you rank and opting branch in the VITEEE exam . There is no as such reservation in exams , the exam is conducted once a year during June approximately To provide improvement in admission process the college should provide students the option to opt for fee categories and according to their rank so that even if they don't get their wanted subject they will have a lower fee .
