A college that makes your future bright

I wanted to take CSE from the day I started JEE preparation .I loved programming, building logics and coding.Thats why I opted for this course. The curriculum is guite good . It teaches us programming , different programming languages , Data structures , Computer network , Cloud Computing ,Operating system. Inshort it teaches how to create logic ,write code ,how it is implemented internally .Moreover it also teaches you AI/ML and also about networking. I think they should make it little more practical oriented and give real life example . Each semester has one Midsem of 30 marks and one endsem of 50 marks and some internal quiz. An year has 2 semesters. Difficulty of exam highly depends on faculty who is making the paper. Some papers are very easy but some are very difficult.

Many companies like visa ,JP Morgan,Mastercard , Accenture and many more offer internship opportunities in 3rd year. Almost 50% students get internship. Some students get stipend of as high as 60000. Most of the students get internship in JP Morgan. Internship is of 2-3 months in which students get exposure of real world industry and get to know how the work is done in real world. It gives practical knowledge. Some students also get PPO's from the company they do internship.

The placement starts from 7 th sem . Companies that visit our campus are Oracle,JP Morgan, Visa , Mastercard, TCS, Infosys, Jio,Tata Elxi,Allen, Deloitte,JSW, Accenture, Cipla, Samsung , cipla and many more companies. The highest package is 44 lakh per annum. Average package is 10 lakh for whole campus and 17 lakh for CSE. The placement percentage is 83% for btech . For CSE it is 86%. Fees of clg for a year is 135000 out of which 125000 is tution fee and 10000 is other fee. There is no such rare of increase of fees. But the tution fee increase almost every year. If your annual income is less than 100000 then you will get full tution fee remission and if your annual income is between 100000 and 500000 then you will get 2/3rd remission on tution fee . Institute also gives MYSY scholarship which is 55000 in year. Campus offers placement in companies like Oracle , JP Morgan , Visa , Mastercard , Amazon. Average package for CSE is 1700000 and average of whole campus is about 1000000. The above companies also provide internship.

The institute has two major fest one is Mindbend which is a technical and managerial event that has variety of competitions (both technical and managerail) and workshops . The he other is Sparsh which is cultural event that has EDM night ,singing night , celebrity night. The environment of campus during these event cannot be explained in words The campus has huge library of 3 floors .You will get almost all books of science. Library has more than 100000 books. It also has some books on non science topics. Library also offers virtual copy of some books that you can read from library computer if the copy of a book is not available at a particular time. The cse classroom are quite ok type. In new Cse building the classrooms are good but in old cse building the class rooms are ok . Each classroom has a projector.Some classrooms also have Mike and speaker. There are many clubs like ACM , GDSC , drishti,CEV,CHRD,CES etc The college has cricket ground, basket ball and many indoor games.

The entrance exam for SVNIT is JEE Mains . Some seats are also alloted for DASA.You need to enroll in JOSAA Counciling to get seat in college with your JEE marks.You need to lock the college and course on that site.You will get seat according to your rank.You will get application dates and all other application details on that site. Cutoff for general was approximately 99.2 percentile in the year of my admission. Reserved categories(OBC,EWS,SC/ST,PWD) will have lower cutoff but they should have proper proof of category or physical disability. Two exam(one Midsem ( 30 marks )and one endsem( 50 marks ) ) are taken in each sem .There are two semesters in a year I think JOSAA should give more time for for seat locking.
