Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum studied here is not so effective on your placement you have to give extra time itself to study hard for the placement.areas in which college has to give improvement is to make them study which is important in their field not to study irrespective of the course
Placement Experience
Placement wise it was good before but after 2018 it started falling and this was because they started taking quantity students not quality last year 2023 CSE students itself were taken 5K and company visited less than 100 and too with not so much high package and also some type of illegal activities is also done like taking money 10Lakhs and giving job
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester fee structure -1,37,500 Hostel fees - 50,000(Non AC),1,00,000( AC) per year Mess Fees ( 40,000) which is totally worst food And if you are a day scholar bus fees is 40,000 per year Total 14 lakhs to 16 lakhs it will take to complete your btech in soa University according to your use for hostel and mess i will suggest to take room outside the campus and mess from outside .the college mess is really worst infact you will get insect's in food
Campus Life
Campus Life is boaring here ,Odias people will never make friends non odia and in return they will laugh on your state for some and the other things.club involvement is also worst only 10 students in a club which is very low for this many student couldn't get into the club's one ngo is there which focus on the social aspects
Hostel Facilities
Hostels Facilities is the worst.very poor internet connection,if you will complain no one will see to it ,mess is the worst only odia food no other north India or South India and if they will make also they will add their touch and sometimes insects also were found in hostel
Admission
Eligibility of the course is that in 12th maths and physics subject should be there and for admission 2 steps is take 1 entrance exam in which u need 60 percentile and 2nd you should have scored more than 60% in your 12th board , Application form is available on the college website itself the entrance exam is of 3 hours and registration form is free . College is good ,There are faculties who really work hard but there is no fest happening in college only study which I feel little boaring,Hostel And mess are worst but if you pay 1.5lakhs which is ac hostel then you can expect some good taste otherwise worst and in bhubaneswar net connection is worst and at last placement is also not good and total no. Of students in cse itself is 5000 and company visited is not more than 100 so I'll recommend go for the preparation of jee and get in good nit and iit.
Interview Experience
Only written test which was also online and MCQ and exam taken was strictly check ,3 hours of exam is taken in which 3 subject will be there - Physics, Chemistry,Maths and the syllabus will also be provided on the college website itself
