Over view of VIT-AP University

The curriculum in VIT-AP is good when compare to other local colleges.You can write your exam well when you go through all the material provided by the faculty. the toughness of the exams is moderate. An year consist of two semisters .And in one semister they will conduct 3 exams. They are CAT-1,CAT-2,FAT. CAT is conducted for 50 marks and where as FAT is conducted for 100 marks. FAT is conducted on the whole sylabus of the semister.The faculty will also conduct some assinments and quiz. They faculty may even ask you to do some projects also which will help you a lot to improve your practical skills.

In the third semister it self the college will provide placement trying for the students.Students are suggested to do intenships in third year it self. Based on their performance few companies will offer them job in their company.There is a placement traing commite who make sure that whehere the student is having the requried qualifications to get a job.They will train you to get a good job.In 2023 the highest package offered is 34,00,000 per annum, and the average package is 9,23,000 per annum. Not every student in VIT-AP will get a job, but almost all students will be placed in companies.After graduating you can even do your Post Graduation in VIT-AP.

When you join VIT-AP University through VITEE , your college fee will be based on your rank. when you apply for councelling the college management will inform you to which catogory you belongs to. And as your catogory number incresses your college fee also increses. The fee for frist catogory students is 1,98,000 and the fee for last or fifth catogory students is 4,98,000.when you join VIT-AP through EAPCET your college fee is 70,000, And if you are elligible to JVD the government will deposit your hole college fee in yor bank account for all four years.Any district topper across the India will get 50% scholarship for all the years.

The technical fest conducted in VIT-AP is konwn as VTAPP.It is the annual international technical fest of VIT-AP. It is genrally held for two days . The clubs will come up with inovative games and hackathons And the most celebrated non-technical fest in VIT-AP is VITOPIA.To which national, inter national and even local talented celebrities are inviter to perform.VITOPIA is also conducted for 2 day. You need to buy the tickets to join the concerts and shows. There is a library in the college,where lots of books needed for your referance are avilable. You can even take books to your home for few days and retun it back later.There will be projector in every class, with the help of that the lecturer can explain you the subject more effectively. And the attendance are taken by biometric system after every class. There is a big ground to play , and there is also a big court for indoor games. There are lots of clubs working actively. The studentes can join the club in which they are intrested

The hostels are available for both boys and girls separetly in the campus its self. There is availability of both AC and non-AC rooms. You can choose the room with numbere of beded shareing you need,but the fee varey.You need to pay for mess food separetely. you can even choose which type of menu you needed like VEG,NON-VEG,SPECIAL MESS. You can get the details of hostel and mess fee in the VIT-AP universities official website.They will display the menu of the food for that pericular month in the notice bord in the hostel.The taste of foods is average and eatable.There is a retail shop available in the hostel from where you can buy snacks and other needed things.There are lifts available in the hostel.After takeing the admision into VIT-AP the college management will send you the information related to rooms registration to your mail.You even be in a PG out side the capus and come to college dialy.Losts of PG's are available.

The students can join VIT-AP university in two ways : 1. through VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) , 2. Through EAPCET . The students all over the country, who passed 12th grade can apply for VITEEE ,the registration for this exam will approximately opens in the month of november and closes in the month of march. VITEEE is easer than JEE mains. The students can register VITEEE in online. The studens from India ,who passed 12th grade can apply for EAPCET. EAPCET is a bit more easer than VITEEE. Both the exams do not have any negative marking . After the exam results, if your rank is less the cut of set by the college managment or governament , you will be elligible to take an admission in VIT-AP university.The college fee is 70,000 for B.Tech if you join through EAPCET. The college fee will be from 1,98,000 to 4,98,000 (as per your rank category) when you join through VITEEE. When you are joining through EAPCET you may get resrvation based on your caste, disability,etc.
