Overall the college is very good for who want to start future hospitality industry.

I had the option of joining government colleges too but I selected IIHM because of this is one of those colleges in India where we get chance to get trained in India an well as abroad in many countries. With having tie-ups of this college with many different agencies it helps us to get internship visa very easily for working abroad and getting trained in a completely different work environment.

Basically, the person studying here gets three different degrees of which one in B.sc in hotel management and catering science which is from IGNOU and one is BA in hospitality administration which is from the University of West London which is one of the best university around the globe and third degree is diploma degree offered by International Hospitality Association.

The college provides internship in India as well as abroad in all big properties. In India, trainees will get average 1500 rupees per month stipend whereas in abroad one will get an average of $10 per hour

All the big properties and airlines company comes to this institute to offer the job. The college help to make yourself a better professional with a right attitude and etiquettes which is also important in the hotel industry keeping hand in hand with practical and theoretical knowledge

The college organizes various events and functions throughout the year in which each student gets a chance to the world in his/ her desired department so that the person can gain some real-time experience to work under pressure and get an idea of how the work is done. The institute organizes world biggest culinary competition in which students from different college from the different part of the world take part which is again a plus point in this institute as no other institute organizes any such event related to hospitality around the planet

The fees structure is nominal and is not much expensive. Fees of three years will cost around six lakhs and the institute has the tie-up with SBI so if anyone wants to take education loan then the person can easily get the loan if he/she is eligible for it.

College personally does not provide any loan facility but the student can easily get a loan from a state bank of India. The student has 85% or more get a scholarship in the form of concession in fees

Campus life is good and here gender ratio is 60:40. Other then all 4 core department different classes are being held like English Personality, development classes, hotel accounting marketing, HRM and many other things so all these things will help the student in gaining different knowledge which will help them in industry.

Institute has its own hostel so students will not have the problem while shifting from another place. The minimum fees of the hostel are 5000 rupees and an increase in the area and things being provided. The food being served in a hostel is good and there is always a caretaker present in hostels.

Seniors of the hotel are corporative and very friendly. There is no ragging reported till now. Specific alumni speak are been organized so that the can share their experience in the industry to the students.

Exams are held on a semester basis and are been conducted in practicals and theory have written exams. The course is divided in such a way that student will not feel pressurized during the time of exams. The exam structure is good and very much student friendly so that student feel hectic.

There was a entrance exam taken by this institute called which is called as STEP following which there was a group diacussion and personal interview. To get admission in this institute one needs to clear all the three selection process to be eligible for taking admission

Faculties over here are very much corporative and very much experienced worked in different part of the world. They share there live time experience and help in many other ways so that each and every person can get enough knowledge to work in the hotel industry with any difficulties
