Best colleges for Development Studies

Good remarks are like college provides basic necessities to students, but as there is no placement in Development studies so this is some frustrating thing too.

I have opted for this college because i completed my bachelor's (Globalization & Development Studies) from here,Then after scoring 6.4 in final exam i have taken admission in Integrated program which is called Master of Globalization & Development studies for integrated students,And Master of Development Studies for those who take admission through entrance exam, Syllabus is also different for the integrated program.

The course curriculum is very good here,As you are going to study the core of development studies which will help in your future projects as if you go for job in private sector or you go for Mphill in development studies and do research in this scheme, The scope of this course is highly in corporate sectors, Ngo's, Social work.

It does not provide an internship or any curricular activities. In this area, college is not that much good, As there are many opportunities which you can go by your own self.

Placements are not given here so if you are thinking of placement so its not the best college for you, But job opportunities are very much higher in this course, After completion of this course you can go in several sectors, Like Mnc's, Corporate sectors, Ngo's.

There are several events takes place in our college like in sports there are very higher opportunities, and in every hostel, there are certainly various programs happens every year, In our department every week there is a seminar takes place in certain issues, but nowadays it has been closed.

the fee structure is quite low so anyone can opt for this course, Fees deposits are yearly which is 3500 per year, then if you want hostel there are around 11-12 thousand per annum is hostel fees. So the college fees are low you can easily opt for this course.

I only about the scholarship which is for every student if your parent is not in the government job, Around 6 to 7 thousand scholarship comes for general students dont know for obc & sc students.

Campus life is awesome here as you will learn new things here which will help you in your future, Sports facilities are for everyone available here,Ncc is also there for you if you want to join in sports you have to give trial if you are selected then you will directly lead University side. Competitions are also there in the BTech & BSC (Mba,Rd) programmes.

Hostel facilities are quite good here because the development studies come in professional courses so the maintenance of hostel is also good and the food quality is much better than other hostels, Most important you will get a very friendly atmosphere here.

Senior students here are very helpful and down to earth in nature so if you give respect to them you'll get every kind of help you want.

Exam structure in our college is quite good,As there is one mid-semester of 40 marks and then the semester's, There are several assignments are given by the professors. After completion of assignments the student do a presentation in front of the professor, There is also some project work given in the second and fourth semester.

After passing 12th i filled the form of bachelor's from Allahabad University in Globalization & Development Studies,As the seats are only 20 here,I got 95 marks in entrance exam so i got admission easily.There are generally questions of Gk,Maths and little bit of science side was asked in entrance exam.

The faculty of college is very good, As the professor's here are very much educated and give every child a proper time because there are only 20 students in each batch and they also take regular classes which make the study atmosphere easier for the students.
