VIT chennai: A breif overview

The CSE course in the VIT chennai is very beneficial.It not only includes coding and DSA but also includes teaching on Operating system, computer networks, compiler design and what not.The curriculum also supports to participate on different projects and come up with innovative ideas, The projects includes J component and research paper publications.The college also provides with placements training for accenture,TCS and Super dream companies.They also prepare us for aptitute rounds with mock interviews as well.In a semester we have 3 exams known as CAT and FAT .CAT implies continious assessment test which is conducted twice a year and Final Assessment test which is conducted at the end of the year.

Internships are offered from various big companies for every branch. Big companies such as Google Microsoft and adobe.The stipend for these companies are above 100000. These companies also provides pre placement offers for VIT Students.

We have very good placemen in VIT chennai.We are provided with placement training before hand with mock interviews as well.We are also provided with interview training.Our campus has 100% placement rate.The average package in VIT chennai lies from 700000 to 900000. In total 150 companies vist our campus for placements including mass recruiters.Our college also provides internships and job offeres for big companies such as Google ,Microsoft and Adobe.

Tution fees depend on the category in which you belong at the time of admission.If you belong to first category which means you have performed well in exams ,your fees would be 1.75 lpa ,for second category it is 3lpa ,for third it is 4lpa, for forth it is 4.5 lpa dn for 5th it is 5 lpa.This was only the tution fees,The hostel fees is based on your preferences ,2 bed AC/Non AC,4bed AC/Non AC and 3bed AC/Non AC 6 bed AC/Non AC are available.The mess is based on tyour preference.VIT chennai has in total Veg ,Non veg and special mess.

We have 2 main fest in VIT chennai.One is tecno VIT and the other is Vibrance,Techno VIT is conducted in the month of August where mostly the technical clubs come up with various competitions. In Vibrance , which is conducted in the month of march in the cultral fest,We have pre vibrance events in which various clubs perform to showcase their talents.In vibrance different artist such as Sgreya goshal, sonu nigam and DJ nights are organised.

VIT chennai has 4 hostel blocks for students ,B block is for girls and the other are for the boys.Hostels are really nice and clean.We have cleaning lading 24/7 on each floor.Each building is of 15 floor.Coming to mess, we have 3 types of mess,veg non veg and spcial mess. The food quality is really nice.The kitchen is also very hygiene.

The eligibility to get into VIT is one have to give VITEEE exam.Since I got admission in 2021,online examination was conducted. To apply for the exam , one has to complete their class 10th and should be studying in class 12. The student could belong to any of the boards. The application form and dates would be available in the official site of VIT Chennai. The fees for the VITEEE exam is 1000/-.There was no such reservation for SC ,ST and OBC or girl or boy. The examination is only conducted once in a year in the month of april or may.The difficulty was same as that of JEE mains.There is also one more criteria that is based on the VITEEE rank, you will assigned with categories in which you will get admission with.Their are in total 5 categories.First category has fees of 1.75 ,second with 3 lpa, third with 4lpa and forth with 4.5 lpa snd fifth as 5 lpa. Hostels ahve different fee structure based on the rooms you prefere like 3 bed 4bed or 2bed,AC or Non AC bed.
