There are good library facilities will be given to student
Campus area is very huge than other nites
There are good faculty available in our svNIT

There are some bad rules like 75 percentage attendance
There are some weak infrastructures of NIT
Some of the faculties are not relevant for his subject

Course Curriculum Overview

There are very newly formed curriculum. And very futuristic and real World academy syllabus. And teaching method is good. There are two exams in one semester of 6 months and it its difficulty level is medium

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies were coming regularly in our college for the internship opportunity and many projects will help us to get internship in companies and in 3rd year we will get internship opportunity for the students

Placement Experience

In our college there are very good placement facilities for the students and there are companies like Reliance JPmc etc. more than this companies also come in our college for placement and we have highest placement of 44 lakh and 18 lakh average placement and 85% of students was getting placements

Fees and Financial Aid

There are very good fee structure in our svNIT. For one year we need to submit 160000 and if your father income is below 5 lack then you will get 2/3 fee remission. And if your father is come is below 1 lakh then you will get full free remission.

Campus Life

Our campus life is very good and infrastructure is nice and and there are large availability and accessibility of books in our library and we have technical fest as mind band and cultural fest as sparsh. And there are good fatalities provided in our class room like projector based and ppt based teaching and there are grounds of volleyball football table tennis cricket and basketball lawn tennis in our svNIT

Hostel Facilities

Tera good hostel facilities in our college we have facilities of lan cable connection of Wi-Fi and we have chase cupboard tables bad lights tube lights and fan and good balconys also and registration process is very smooth.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Admission

For the admission process as other nites you need to do jossa counseling for admission process. cut off of the svnit is 100000 to 2 lakh rank in Jee. reservations for the categories like SC ST EWS OBC are there. There are mainly two exams in one semester of 6 months and its difficulty level is medium

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.

Inside SVNIT: A students’s UNFILTERED view

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. And talking about my branch , there are various companies around my home town . Generally SVNIT accepts the admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Admission process is mainly based on CCMT , JOSSHA, ISR , etc Depending on the exams which u have given, u can get selected for this college. Great college for exploring and learning.

I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai. The admission process is that you have to qualify in jee mains with rank of around 40k or if categories then can go upto 60k. And you would need to get more than 75+ in cbse....Read More
