Community like CHRD which stands for Centre for Human Resource Development.
CHRD includes clubs like Akriti, Raag, Malang, Kirdaar, Convex, Cinephilia and Design.
Akriti is for artists, Raag is for singers, Malang is dancers, Kirdaar is for actors, Convex is for photographer, Cinephilia is for movie makin.

Dislikes

I don't like some professor's teaching way.
Sometimes I don't like intime of the college.

I choose this cource to get a good job. I will be happy if I get average package of my college which is 16.4 LPA. I learn DSA in 2nd sem of 1st year. I started my practicing the DSA by giving contest weekly.

Companies like JPMC, MasterCard, Visa, TCS, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM ect are tech companies. Tech companies are offered role of software devlopement engineer to students for intership. JPMC conduct a contest Code For Good and based on this it provides opportunity to the students.

Placement Experience

Our college offered placements to the students. Also provied intership's oprtunities to the 2nd and 3rd year students. Many companies visit in our college like JPMC, Microfsoft, MasterCard, Visa, TCS, Adobe, AngelOne, PW, Reliance, Unacademy, IBM etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Based on category and Annual income of student's father, there is scholarships for student. For General, EWS and OBC categories student, if their father's income is less than 1 lakh then full remission on college fee, if more than 1 lakh and less than 5 lakh then 2/3 remission on college fee else no remission. For SC and ST inrespective of their father's income thet go full remission on collge fee.

Campus Life

My college has 250 acre campus. A beautiful campus. I like it. We have clubs like CHRD, Drishti, NSS, LAC etc. We have gujarat's largest techno-managerial fest MINDBEND. We have our cultural fest SPARHS. Good Facilities in Labs.

Hostel Facilities

For 2nd year there is a new hostel constructed in August, 2023. 1st it's name was EWS. Now, it's name is Atal Bihari Vajpayi Bhavan who was our Prime Minister of India for 3 times. Good facilities currently.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

I get admission through JEE Main 2022. There is criteria based on students' JEE Main's AIR and this depends also on previous year cut-off ranking for this perticular college. For different categories like General,EWS,OBC,ST,SC college have reservation seats according to this.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Inside SVNIT: A students’s UNFILTERED view

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. And talking about my branch , there are various companies around my home town . Generally SVNIT accepts the admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Great college for exploring and learning.

I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
