Likes

The indoor stadium of this college is really good and it's infrastructure is best .
Beside the stadium it also has the gym for students .
The garden of this college is also maintained which is a pleasure to see.

Dislikes

The faculty members are now not so good as it was
The hostel is the worst . You could never eat once a good food

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of this college is like same as any of the other colleges which includes subjects like Mathematics, English, Engineering Physics, Computer Programming, Basics of Electronics, Engineering Chemistry, and Engineering Mechanics. The faculty of this college were good once upon a time. Well, the situation is reversed now every good old faculty leaves the college.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of this college is also not so good we could say only 40 percentage of students in the college could get placement. The college somewhere lacks to build the knowledge of students and it's faculty members about the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college includes 1 lakhs 20 thousand per annum but if you opt for a hostel it would against charged for approx 75 thousand. There are state-level scholarships. But if you ask me the hostel food is not at all good you always need to opt for restaurants and dhabas.

Campus Life

The overall campus life is good as there are a lot of clubs and activities and I am involved in a club named Innova which is very active and does all sorts of things so a lot of people could engage in that and have fun.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities of this college is not so good , the food we get here is the worst that every 3 days in a week we need to go for restaurant and dhabas. The hostel really good to chaos as this lacks management.

Admission

While applying for this college there was not more of a hustle because it is a tier-three college. Colleges do not ask for all sorts of things like previous marks or any type of entrance examination. All you want is all verifiable documents of yourself then the minimum admission fees. This college is probably the best in the locality but if you can afford a bit more I would rather ask you not to join here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
