- The classroom doesn't have airconditioner and in summer it's very hot.
- I final exam if you want to check if there is mistake in paper correction you have to pay to see your answer sheet officially
- The timing of classes is weird, there are unnecessary breaks in between lecture which only waste time
Course Curriculum Overview
I took this course (CSE core) because I was interested in this field and wanted to develop my skill. This curriculum started basics to ease out student and slowly blended in skill and knowledge for future use of the students. The teachers teaches what's important to us and based on that our exam is conducted. In each semester 3 exams are conducted CAT1, CAT2 and FAT. CAT1 and CAT2 are each of 1 hour 30 minutes whereas FAT is a full syllabus final exam of 3 hours. The paper consists questions of all difficulties

During the period of placement the companies that are visiting can also provide internship opportunities to the students with stipend. Like Intel, Amazon, Tata motors , PayPal, Dell DE Shaw & Co, Hitachi and etc.
Placement Experience
From 8th semister students are eligible for campus placement. Total of 904 companies visited for placement, like Microsoft, D E Shaw&Co, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, PayPal, Cisco, Intel J.P.Morgan etc Highest package - 1.02 crore per annum Average package - 9.23 LPA A total of 14345 students were placed. My plans after degree is to continue my studies and do masters
Fees and Financial Aid
The total tuition fee vary based on the category you took addmission, Category 1 - Rs 198000 Category 2 - Rs 307000 Category 3 - Rs 405000 Category 4 - Rs 448000 Category 5 - Rs 493000 I am of category 2 and the complete cost of my education is Rs 307000 for course fee(Rs 3000) and Rs 201500 for hostel and mess fees(Rs 15000 caution deposit ). Scholarship policy of VIT is :- (I)central or state board toppers are given 100% scholarship. (II)Rank from 1 to 50 is given 75% waiver. (III) Rank from 51 to 100 are given 50% waiver. (IV) Rank from 101 to 1000 are given 25% waiver.
Campus Life
There are 2 major fests that happens each year, TechnoVIT and VIBRANCE, each of 3- 4 days event. TechnoVIT is held during start of October and VIBRANCE is held during March starting. The is a central library with an wide variety of books, all the books which could help your knowledge growth are found there, and the Library is accessible from 8 in the morning till midnight. Each classroom has a 4 board setup (2 Black board and 2 white board) , a projecter and speaker so that everyone is able to hear properly. My campus has football field, basketball court, tennis court, badminton field, cricket ground and volleyball ground. There are many clubs in my college from cultural to social to educational to sports clubs. There is VTOP it's a student portal where all details related to college and students can be found.
Hostel Facilities
I am in a 4 bed AC room. 2 bunk beds, 4 cupboards, 4 shelves and sprinklers for fire safety. The food in my mess is good and the variety of menu is all satisfactory. Registration for hostel and mess is done along with the tution fee payment. Hostel fee - Rs 99900 Mess fee - 71600 (VEG)
Admission
I took entrance exam conducted by VIT called VITEEE. This exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes, with physics, chemistry, english, aptitude and a choice between mathematics and biology. I secured 13995 rank and was applicable for CSE core category 2. There are no reservations in this college everyone is treated righteously.
