Likes

The college location is good. We have some good daba for good biryani
In our college we have beautiful gardens beautiful flowers
They provide AC in some of the lapse during summer days we all are happy with it as we live in Berhampur which is hottest place I think ever

Dislikes

Berhampur is very hot place they don't provide AC in our classrooms
They Force US to maintain 75% attendance even in third year of our college
Faculty members are not supportive and they don't know how to talk to other peoples the treat us like a dog and cat

Course Curriculum Overview

In our college the 75% attendance is mandatory to all of the students and the med semester and final semester is not given as the attendance criteria is not full filled by us. attending the labs are mandatory as if we absent the labs we lost the marks

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester we give 60000 as a semester fees and for the registration fees we give 2500 and I am the hostel student I also have to pay 25000 per year for the hostel and the Miss Bill is 4000 per month There are several scholarship programs are provided by our college which is based on the marks of 12 and JEE main

Campus Life

The college is a place of making career but also a place of making fun and memories the extra curriculum activities is very low in our college they don't provide us fund for the clubs and extra curriculum even they also don't provide us the exploser what we have expecting for our college club involvement and club priorities very less only focus on the study and the study we get from our college is very poor quality

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are all an average but the quality of food is worst they don't provide us good quality of water even if we complain about something this scolded us back for that complaining. There are lots of restriction in the hostels we don't live freely the seniors are the worst seniors

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

The admission process was done smoothly and there was no such cut off though I got on the my admission on the basis of JEE ranking and the admission can also get through ojee ranking. All this staffs in the admission department were cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

My College Life.

I didn't applied in any other colleges. I joined this college because the rules and regulations and the faculty members are good. The college provides an average placement of 9 LPA to the students and placements of highest package 25 laksh in MNCs like Accenture,Tata,Texas Instruments etc. To get admission in my college a student have to clear JEE exam with a good percentile and have to book seat and then have to wait for the joining list to be released by the college once it is released the student can get admission by paying the joining fees on the joining date...Read More
