MAIT Review

The relevance and comprehensiveness of my course is very good.The curriculum covers all the fundamental concepts with the practicals and the skills that are demanded in ECE industry.We are even updated regularly about the latest technology and trends.This is one of my aspect that influenced me to take this course. The other thing that i like about ECE is that it is very flexible like i can get into cse jobs quite easily as my backup. Now talking about the timing of Exams..mid sems are held after about 1.5-2 months of the start of semester and after about 1.5 months of midsems we have endsems and i don't think exams are that difficult so we don't have much stress before exams.

Any college under IPU like MAIT offers you direct interships.You can individually apply for internships in companies of you interest. But there are few companies that offer internship in MAIT through few tests and interviews.

Placementa in our college are good with the highest package this year around 50lakhs. Average package is around 10lakhs with around 80% students getting placed.Some companies that visited our college this year was Microsoft,Tcs,infosys,campro, Amazon and many more. Students are eligible for campus placement in when they are in there last semester. My plans after getting the degree is i am going to prepare for campus placement first and if i didn't get placement i will try offcampus.

The total fees for my course is about 5.1-5.4 lakhs.Its around 1.45-1.5 lakh per year with some decrement every year of about 10-15k.The tuition fee is around 1.25lakh, Activity fee is 1000 and University Annual charges is 20000.

Campus life is really very good at MAIT which offer opportunities for students to participate in various social activities such as cultural events,fests and compititions.There are also students run societies or clubs in MAIT aayaam( the dramatica society) and many more.Annual fest is held every year in March or April and the best thing about it is that is it mostly managed by students only. Now talking about the library you could find any book related to your course or in it.It is literally a whole building with 5 floors dedicated to library. The facilities provided within classroom like projectors,ACs in every room makes it even more comfortable place to study. There are many sports events and activities that are offered on campus like a basket ball court, tennis court, volleyball court and a huge ground to play games like cricket. The infrastructure provided is really good and there also a new building under construction for AI-ML or DS.

Admission was through IPU counselling which was pretty easy.We just had to verify our documents by visiting college after the counselling was over. Eligibility criteria for the course is that you should have 50% marks aggregate in 12th class. Cutoff for my branch ECE(ACT) for general was around 85 percentile. Application forms for the counselling could be found on https://ipu.admissions.nic.in/ . Jee mains is a 3hr long exam which is subdivided into three sections one for each maths, physics and chemistry. Talking about the difficulty level i would say maths is always on the harder side while physics and chemistry are on average side. Only thing i would like to suggest is that they should be more specific about the dates in the admission process.
