MAIT (ROHINI) COLLEGE REVIEW

All curriculum is approved by ipu main campus GGSIPU, Dwarka (govt.). Actually, 1st year curriculum is actually little boring but this can depend from student to student. Real world apllications like coding languages practical i.e. java, c++ starts from 2nd year (3rd semester). Exams are not so difficult, if you study 1-2 weeks before exams you can easily achive 8 to 9+ cgpa. Teachers are friendly and helping. There is mentor provided to each class with whom you can share your problems.

I am curently in 1st year, so not much idea about companies ofering interships. There are not too much opportunities for intership is available in our college so you have to apply for off campus. So, think before applying to college.

Campus on campus placemts are not so good but decent. ZS associates is mass recruiter of our college offering 14 lakh per annum salary with in hand salary of 9 lakh per annum. This company alone offers placement to around 100 students. Avg.package of our college is 9 lakh for cse branch. But there is always a scope of off campus if you have good skill set. Percentage of students placed is not so good and it is not even in numbers.

In B.Tech, fees for students admitted in 2023 is : 1.75 lakh. So,you can complete you btech in 7 lakhs (excluding hostel charges) which was even low than iit's , dtu and nsut. As of now, fees at which you will be admitted will remain same for complete 4 years Btech. Financial aid is provided for students who are from reserved categories or ews but not from college, you have to apply for same at government website and you will get financial aid or scholarship as per government guidelines.

Annual cultural and techinal fest is organized by college every year. This year(2024) raftaar will be coming to perform in fest at our college. There are many societies and clubs which you can join to improve yourself socially eg. robotics, techinal, cultural, coding, google development society etc. Huge and spacious Library is there in our college. But there is no facility of free wifi to students in campus area. If you want great college life, please refer to some other college instead of this.

Admission at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology(MAIT) is done through ipu couselling using jee main score. Registration and application form is filled through website: ipu admissions . Registration for ipu counselling generally starts after jee main session 1 and extends upto jee main session, Application fees varies between 1000-2000 depending on year you are aplying(mine was 1000). General category cutoff ( year - 2023) is given below ( based of jee main crl rank, round 2, closing rank, HS- home state, OS - outside state): CSE ( 1st shift): ( HS - 54287 ) (OS - 29644) CSE ( 2nd shift): (HS - 61654) (OS - 31165) IT : (HS - 98360) (OS - 44783) For other branches and category refer ipu admissions website. Cutoff further go low in round 3 and round 4. So, it's not so hard to take admission.
