Story of engineering student

Aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is I am from CSE background. I did diploma in CSE where my intrest belongs the most. I think curriculum just teaches us therotical concepts you need to prepare by your own for the real-world applications. Suggestion for improvement in course curriculum and teaching method is faculties need to make aware of students about real world. How the things work in real-time like if I learning web development then they need to tell us that this is how you use concepts in real time. Frequency and timing of exams are not much hectic. Difficulty level of exams is moderate you can easily score if you studied.

According to company if they are taking last year students or students from 3rd year. But mostly last year students are eligible. There is no company who haven't taken any students. HSBC is offered 9LPA it is highest package in our batch. 60-70% are placed. After getting degree I want to look for job.

Tution fee is different according to cast. If you are open then you may need to pay approximately 60-70k for tution fee. Hikes are not taken in case of change year. Complete cost is much higher because it not only requires you to pay college fees, exam fees, it also involves travelling from college to house, house to college daily also study material notebooks, books, hostel fees, mess fees. So it is more than 2-2.5 lakh for a single year. Scholarship is 20% of your college fees. If you are paying 20000rs for a year then you may receive 5400rs from scholarship. Campus employment is okay as it offers full time for only selected candidates from internship or training based on companies. Stippened from 7k-25k is awarded for single months. Job roles are based on your stream if you are from computer science background then you will see job roles like software engineer, software developer here you will not see any specific roles like frontend back-end because they will train you on each.

Annual festivals in our college called "Meraki". It is held in feb-mar. Fees for it is not taken. If there is any event then only participation in event may require 70-100 fee based on event. All journels and books available in Library are free to use the range is 3 a day. Facilities in room HD screen as blackboard. Sports and curriculum is very good. Any students who crack the interview will eligible to join club.

Room has cleaned bathroom and a bed, water sysntem is okay. But at the time of winter it is difficult because of solar system hot water. Rent is 1300 a month for room and for mess it is 2000-2500 rs. It is hostel not PG. You can directly visit there or call for booking a room.

I am a direct second year student so the cut off is approximately 90 above for open cast and handicap or civil background students (whose parents from army) will get the seats first. I am from NT-B and I secured 88.46 and got last second position from seats that reserved to our cast. Application form and fee structure, dates of application is available on college website. When you fill application you will be added to college group of admission, where you receive all reservation details and benifits(also you need to check website for early access). Frequency and timing of exams are okay!! Because they don't make hectic by giving too many holidays in between two papers. Admission process suggestion for improvement is it's too many paperwork required and it should be hard copies in bunch of our documents 3 sets. And they return it after completion of degree which I think don't required if we provide soft copies.
