I liked labs, there is no problem in labs
I also liked the campus life, and the hostels are good
Everything is good, Academics is also good

Dislikes

Academic block classrooms are not having AC
Most of the times we have classes on Saturdays as well
Holidays are somewhat less as compared to govt colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very good and I took this course based on my interest in the field of Btech. Yes, the curriculum prepares you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. There are no improvements needed. Exams are conducted three times per semester. The difficulty level is moderate to easy.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is based on the category of the entrance exam, there is no fee increase policy, and my complete cost of education is around 10 lakhs. I didn't opt for any scholarships etc. I didn't opt for any campus employment though there are opportunities.

Campus Life

There are two main fests TechnoVit and Vibrance, Vibrance will generally take place in March. The library is very good with all books. Classrooms are also good and decent. Sports and extracurricular activities are also there. There are also many clubs with FFCS.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room is very good, all facilities are provided, wifi, hot water, and cold water. The registration process will be done on the college website after submitting the required documents. Affordability is not good. It's expensive. I haven't rented a room or PG.

Hostel Fee: INR 220000 per year

Admission

Eligibility for the course is through the VITEEE exam and the application form, application fees, and application dates are mentioned on the VIT website. There are no reservation benefits and the frequency of exams is once per year and the exam difficulty is moderate. There are no many improvements needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
