Likes

I like my campus infrastructure.Labs are equipped with ACs.
Environment of studying is there in college is there.
When holidays are given VIT drops students to bus stand,train station,airport.

Dislikes

There could have been more time to relax.
Work will be given on weekly basis.If one doesnt work they will be lagging in competition.
Rooms could have 2 or 3 sharing. Wifi is a bit slow.

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically I am interested in programming and I have been doing it since my childhood. I prepares us well as we have python in the first sem and the curiculum makes sure that one learns to code.Teaching is good as faculty is interested to teach.They are talented individuals as they have PHD degree from top institutes.One will have 2 mids and one final sem. Exams are very easy if one prepares.

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 192000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All top companies come for placements like Amazon, google, etc. They give lucrative packages to students who can work hard. Top companies hire top students. There is one person who got 1 cr package his name is Saketh. He got 9.8 cgpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is 192000 per year. There are many scholarship opportunities by the institute if one student excels in studies. The hostel costs 157000.The total fee including the hostel will be 13 lakh approx. It is totally worth it as VIT is one of the top institutes.

Campus Life

Cultural Fest is Vibrance. Technical Fest is TechnoVIT. Both are extreme ways to have fun. All kinds of books are there in the library. All classrooms are equipped with boards. All kinds of clubs are there like anime,tech,etc. All sporting equipment is available to use.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are very good.I live in 6 bedded AC room. Mess food is awesome. It is a perfect blend of south Indian north Indian and American foods. Registration can be done through college website name Vtop.

Hostel Fee: INR 157000 per year

Admission

The admission is based on VITEEE exam rank. VITEEE form can be found vit.ac.in. There you can find all the dates and fee. Application fee is 1200. There is no reservation Benefits in VIT. The exam will be conducted once an year. It is easy.Maths is tricky yet easy. Long line in the campus to allot rooms and to submit documents.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains.
