Course Curriculum Overview
As the cse department is so popular and demanding branch and as a student of this branch we get lots of oppertunity in our future as on campus placement, off campus placement, PSUs jobs etc. so thats why I opt this branch in this college. As I want to join in jadavpur university but due to some low rank I admitted in this college. After jadavpur university this college is my preference because all for the future opportunities and college campus beauty.
Placement Experience
Placement are good the average package for tech department are around 8 lakhs and for non tech it will around 6 lakhs. And the placement ratio is good around 90% students are placement in on campus placement session. But some students are also preparing for GATE exam also for PSUs jobs and get further studies in IITs and NITs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of this college is so less as compared to other b tech college in India. The total fee for the 4 year is only 60k approx. And this is too low. Any students can afford this amount but in this college there is a good opportunity to avail the government scholarship also as this college is state govt so here a scholarship named as SVMCM that can be avail by the students and the scholership amount is 60k per year and the total for 4 year is 2 lakh 40 thousand. And that is 4 time the college fee so this is the very good reason to select this college because we don't have to worried about the fees of the college.
Campus Life
The overall experience is very good as the campus is too clean and green, there are 3 big playground in the campus for cricket football and other games. Hostel facility are also in the campus for the outer students and the hostel fees is also too less as the college fee is. The facilities of labs are also good but the equipment are too old as the college is very old college. There are so many clubs in the college like drama clud, dance club, coders club etc.
Admission
As the IT sector is growing so fast and the future opportunities are so high in this field so that why I opt this branch in this College and as this college is very good as per the placement prospects because the placement are decent approx 90% placement are there. To join in this college we should have good rank in WBJEE Examination like above 2500 for CSE and 3000 For IT and for core department it will vary as last as upto 15k for reserved categery. The WBJEE Examination is conducted once in the year and the difeculty level is lower then the JEE Mains exam.
