Best college for Allied Health Sciences

The subjects in 1st year includes anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, OT management and other light subjects. 2nd year includes microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, medicine, surgery, anaesthesia etc. 3rd year also includes 3 to 4 subjects. The exams are held every 2 months with 3 sessionals and a final university exam. There are extracurricular activities held here which includes cultural programs, sports day, annual day and many more. We are taught by the doctors and PGs here. The difficulty level is medium but the subjects are very interesting to learn.

After 3 years of bachelor program there is a one year internship for the course which is totally free of cost. The internship is day and night shift. It also provides a good amount monthly for the students. After the completion of the course students can also apply for Msc or continue with other jobs under this course. There are also many conferences and camps held in this course which are held in different places

The total course fee for Bsc Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology is around 3,90,000 including the tution fees. The university also provides hostels and canteens. Hostel fees may add with the total fee. Hostels provide food for 3 times. The tution fee and exam fee is around 5000 which is included with the total fee during admission. Scholarships are also available such as National scholarship programmes(NSP) and State scholarship programme(SSP) and many others. This course provides one year internship in the hospital itself for more experience. The job opportunities include OT technicians, CSSD manager, Anaesthesists, Operation Department practioner and many more. Internship also provides stipends monthly. This course had many job opportunities.

Annual festivals are held every year between December to January. Along with annual day,culturals day is also held for 3 days. This allows students to bring out their talents. Other fests are also held such as intercollege competitions and many more. Sports Day is held for the students every year to bring out their sportsmanship. It also provides intercollege indoor and outdoor sports competition such as volleyball, throwball, chess, carrom, tennis etc. The university also provides a sports stadium and a gym for students for free with many facilities. The college also provides a free transportation facility for students. University also runs many clubs and social groups for students. The library is also very spacious and AC associated providing a calm environment for the students.

I heard very good about this college through many people. I applied for Bsc Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology course through nitte.edu.com link from google. They sent me an application form which told the details about the course i opted for. Eligibility criteria for this course is 12th pass with 45% in science stream. This is a 4 year course with 3 years of bacelors degree and 1 year of internship. It also has Msc course of 2 years. There are also many reservation benefits and scholarships available for students. The exams are held as sessionals. There will be three sessionals and a university final exam. The environment of this college campus is very good and calm. The classrooms are very spacious and clean. The washrooms are very clean. There is free wifi available in the campus. There are many canteens available in the campus.
