Course Curriculum Overview

4

I think I made a right choice in choosing this course as it helps me getting closer towards my dream which I had since my childhood. Clinical postings helps me a lot to put my knowledge into testing and carry on my academic pursuits

Internships Opportunities

4

One has to compulsory undergo 1 year of internship in the hospital itself. In order to get registered as a doctor the individual has to serve in each and every department of hospital for specific amount of days for 1 year to gain hands on experience

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise payment is 1756000 And it remains same for next 4 years and in the last half year it becomes 878000. It has extra 6000 as university payment and another 6000 for exam fees. You have to pay differently for all lab manuals and records and for the basic instrument and white coat.

Campus Life

4

Campus is quite big and it also has a charitable hospital which has got all the facilities. The campus also comprises of indoor stadium, coffee shop, gymnasium, auditorium, assembly point and a playground. This campus also has many hostels for different courses. This college also promotes involvement in sports and extra curricular activities

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are quite decent as they give us a sharing room which accomodates two people per room. Every room has a private bathroom and they supply got water for bathing. The meal quality is decent or I could say edible. They provide a decent quality of food all 7 days a week. To rent a room or pg in the locality near by is quite expensive.

Admission

I had applied for this college itself as one of the first few choices as I got know about this college from different sources. They all gave me a good review about this place. This college was my 4 choice while filling up the forms for admission. The cutoff for this college varies every year according to the results of NEET ug

Faculty

4

Faculty are very excellent as they are educated and have a strong will to teach you and make you understand each and every topic. Course comprises of 4.5 years plus a year of internship. Exam systems are as follows Every year has 3 sessionals and a university exams

Night Life

4

Nightlife is quite normal around and in the campus, nothing significant. Girls hostel has a intime of 8 p.m whereas boys hostel has an intime of 11 p.m . Both girls and boys can avail libarary facility till 11p.m and especially for girls there is a pick up drop service from hostel to library. The locality is quite safe to roam around at night as there many restaurants near campus to eat.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
