Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curried is really prepared well and apt for the scenarios we'll face later in the job side We had online classes as well as offline classes Practically would go to the operation theatre for more practical knowledge Add on , we had conferences which were held in our college and neighbouring colleges The frequency of exams were once in three months Which makes it three sessional exams followed by one university exam

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship was good Really got to learn a lot You'll get to experience a lot of things right from the morning till the evening Assisting for Difficult intubation or maybe mask ventilation, cannulation everything Stiphend is really low as I've mentioned earlier it's only 750 RS for a month Which makes it around 25rs per day which is really bad Other than that it's good And no Sunday holidays Which also kinds of makes it tiring by the end of six months

Fees and Financial Aid

My complete cost for three years was about around 4lakhs We had exams fees which had to pay separately that was different for each year Last year we had to pay around 8000 There are scholarships available for local students but nothing as such for outsiders The internship stiphend that they pay is pretty low It sums up to 4,500 RS for 6 months Which is very less

Campus Life

2

We had culturals for two years Along with that we had our own department programs been held for onam celebration or Diwali celebrations Christmas and navratri sometimes Library is available in the kshema college itself We could access books through there Projector and mic system We had one sports day in four years due to covid

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Fan table bed chair Meal quality 7/10 Menu keeps changing Registration process smooth Can afford not too expensive No attached bathrooms which can be difficult and to wash clothes had to go to the terrace

Admission

Everything was done online , there was a person who would assist you to manage everything ofcourse. You can contact them . Had to pay a down payment amount to book the admission and In the following week Fees of the first year would've to be paid Hostel fees had to be paid once we reached the place Full year fees to pay either through NIFT/UPI transaction was left to us Before a month of commencement of the course fees was taken

Course Curriculum Overview:

Aspects that made me choose this course : The course has strong clinic focus. It gives early ward postings and lab skill training. The mix of theory and clinical work made me choos it. The course gives hands-on skill in wards and lab. We learn case study, care plan and drug chart. It also improves our critical thinking skills during intervention. Areas to improve : More skill lab time can be added. More demo with new tech will help. More group talk snd case based learn can imrpove study. There are 2 internal exams each sem and one final exam. Exams are fair and needed daily study. They are not very hard if we prepare well.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are available, but they are average and not very high level. The college conducts campus placement for our course, mainly in hospitals and related healthcare sectors. Many students get placed through college, but package is usually basic or entry-level. It is good for starting career and gaining experience.

Curriculum is covered by theory classes as well as the practical hours, clinical posting time will be change in each semester. As for the exam each year is consist of two semesters, and each semester have two IA exam which coming up of the end semester eaxm. The difficulty of the subjects is based on how each student is will approaching the subject. As my experience of 3 years I felt like that the subjects will be get difficulted in each coming semester. And most of the subject will be having practical exam section which includes the osce section, which helps the students to improve the self confidence and good maintenance of interpersonal relationship. The 1 IA will on 3nd month of your semester starts and the 2 IA will be 1-2 months after your first IA anthe final end semester exam will be on the 6th month after the semester starts....

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always wanted to do a professional course and I choose to nurse because it's a challenging yet rewarding profession. The faculty is well qualified and experienced with newer teaching-learning methods. I'm not quite sure about the student-to-faculty ratio. Exams are held annually. It really depends on the student but you have to do your part responsibly to make the most and learn.
