- Teachers are well knowledged and supporting, you can ask them doubts any time
- Campus is very huge and clean, you dont need to go out for anything, everything is available in college campus.
- Study culture is well balanced with non acadmic growth
Dislikes
- There is racism for non tamil people locally, people ignore non tamil speakers
- There is decrimination for girls and boys hostel, girls hostel has way more facilities than boys hostel
- There are lots of crimes happened but are supressed by college managment
Course Curriculum Overview
Cource is really nice, Faculty is supportive. But in first year you have to study almost everything from bio, Chem, Physics, eee coding etc, if you are in engineering branch. There are 3 cycle test and 1 end sem exam in each semester in which CT makes 60% of marks. End semester is easier than CT
Internships Opportunities
When talking about my cource I.e aerospace Engineering lots for students are doing their internship in ISRO, DRDO, HAL, NAL, Air Bus, Boeing etc and intern Engineers but most of these companies being government don't give stipened You cal also do thesis project instead.
Placement Experience
After doing internship and 3rd year people become eligible for placement Companies visited includes microsoft google TCS Wipro etc and lots of offers are made and most of them to CSE branches In year 23-24 Average package is about 5 to 8 lpa and highest package was 57lpa About 80 to 90 % elegible students gets placed I am not planing for placement
Fees and Financial Aid
This college is little expensive, talking about my cource I.e aerospace engineering, fees is 375000 per year and in first year we have to pay 10000 extra. So my complete cost of education will be 15,10,000 rs for four year. Tere are scholarships for people in sports and according to rank in SRMjeee exam. There is no campus employment for students
Campus Life
There are two fests AARUSH and MILAN where aarush is a tech fest and Milan is a cultural fest both organized by student association. Aarush is held in Oct to Nov and Milan is held in Feb to March. Talking about library, you will have all books there and won't need to buy any book. The Classrooms in UB are installed with AC while CRC is not but now a new building is being made to replace CRC and all classroom have projector For sports you have football ground I.e is turf ground then you have cricket ground volleyball and basketball court, swimming pool is under construction. There are lots of clubs and groups, what ever you can think of we have club for that
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room consist of bed desk and cabinet for boys hostel The mess food is not that good but van be managed Price of hostel room varies like we have different rooms such as AC, Non AC, Attached Washroom, Common washroom etc where cost varies from 110000 to ~350000 also we can take laundry service for 7500 rs
Admission
We had to give SRMJEEE which is conducted in three phases, April, may and June phase. I gave April phase exam and got 3500 rank. The exam is online proctored. Syllabus is all basic of 10th to 12th of case. You can find the form ti apply on college website and on collegedunia as well
