Placement and quality of education is not much good

Education quality is great but the facilities and crowd are not much good.

I heard that it was the best college for mechanical engineering nearby me. I didn't got the best college so I preferred to coin Konkan Gyanpeeth college of engineering. I heard much that good teachers and facilities with sports environment. All books are available in library.

In every semester there two internal assessment test, a student least need to score 16 combining both the test for the single subject. There are lots of assignment and practicals to write. In my college, practical equipment is not in working condition. At last the semester exam happen in May/November.

There's no such kind of activities conducted during the course. If someone wants to enroll for the internship they have to find by themselves.

There very few companies come for the recruitment, there only companies coming from the IT sector. There is no scope for core job selection only 5-10 percentage of students get placed with. Low annual package. A student must sign the 2 years bond. Only startup companies appear

There's hypercube (techfest ) happens every year around January end. Lots of sports activities life football cricket, table tennis, shot put etc happen and winners are rewarded with medals. cultural activities such as dancing singing drama etc.

Fees structure depends on your cast for General category - 95000 OBC category- 60000 Sc/St - 15000 Fees changes according to year to year Exam fees for the single semester is 1000 And cost for rechecking is 500 and for the photocopy of your mark sheet is 100.

Scholarship is available for the minority and caste category students. OBC students get 50 percent of fees concession.

Gender ratio differs from branch to branch. 1/10 girl student in mechanical and production branch and in other branches 4/10 girl student. Not much extracurricular activities happen over here, mechanical labs are not working sports happen every here.

The hostel is situated near to the college. Fees for every month of a room is 3000 sharing with 3 students. No hot water is available in cold weather. No WiFi and air conditioning are available in any of the room. Food over here kind of ok type. Non-veg food is provided only 3 days a week worth 2500/m.

I first completed my HSC , then applied for jee main exam . After few month the results came out . I collected my DTE form from nearby centre then filled it . I filled the names of colleges that I want to get admission . After that cap round happen , I got selected for this college in first cap round

Some of the faculty members are outstanding and highly qualified. Some are terrible at teaching .some teachers help in solving doubt and projects and some don't even bother listening to queries of the students. A principal is only for namesake. Other staff not helpful.
