Remarks

College life is full of new experiences and one has to face all the good and bad that comes with it. One can explore oneself and set the path of there career.

Entrance Preview

I got admitted through counselling in this college. The rank I got and course I selected with my choice of branch, all criteria match for this college. Moreover, the faculties are helpful. The labs are fully functional and the faculties also help students in their project.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Bachelors in Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering has duration of 4 years. the subjects are more easier in start and later on more detailed towards the field we chose. there are many opportunities like technical competitions and conferences which can help the students in learning.

Internships Opportunities

No. Our college does not provide internships. We only have training period of 45 days in our 3 year vacation time.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements are there but not in large number. The job offers they provide mostly are not related to our field, but if one's interested they can participate in the placement process. The companies that come to recruit have criteria which should be fulfilled by the students. Those who are eligible will go through series of test and interviews.

College Events

4

There are many events such as: Technical fest- which are either on branch level or intercollege level College cultural fest - all colleges can participate in different categories of competitions. There are also cash prize and certificates included. Internal college competitions (according to branches)

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I got admitted in college, the fees was about 89,000 rupees, but now a days the fees has been increased and it is approximately 95,000 rupees. It is quite expensive but generally all private colleges have fees structure like this. There are also loan possibilities for those students who are eager to study engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our university provides various scholarship schemes which can help the students in dire need of relief in money. There are some rules and regulations and maintaining of qualifying marks which will make the student eligible for scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is nice and entertaining, most of the time. Students of all races are there and no such harassment is done based on gender or religion. however, no. of boys are more as compared to girls but participation is 100% of both genders whether it is for technical competitions or for debates.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are as such no hostel facilities. But, there are transport services provided by the college for a certain amount of money. There is also a canteen for the students and teachers. There is no hostel but students reside in PG and commute through buses for college.

Alumni/Alumna

when I was in first year, my seniors were very helpful and full of fun type. They were very encouraging, and when I was in my senior year , we maintain the same relation between senior and junior.

Admission

First, we have to fill the form for the particular course in which one is interested, then one will receive admit card which will contain date and roll no. of exam per taking. Lastly, according to one's rank in the entrance exam, one will have to go through counselling process accordingly and they have to go to college which is allotted to them. There are mostly 3 rounds of counselling and according to ranks colleges are allotted to the students based on the choices that are filled after declaration of results. If one's rank is good, he/she can go through next step of counselling and choose appropriate college.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are certainly qualified in their area of teaching. They set the schedule in such a way so that the syllabus is completed before a few weeks of the exam. Teachers are helpful and always ready to listen to the students about new projects and help them in completing the project.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
