Course Curriculum Overview

Different management subject along with insurance curriculum prepares you well for industry with allround development and overall personality building. Also provide with practical knowledge via garage visit, marine lab etc. Trimester exams not very difficult.

I got internship in one of the general insurance in HR roles. Internship starts in month of may till june. Various company visit campus providing variety of roles to the students right from sales marketing to technical roles. A lot of legacy partners are associated with the Institute.

Eligble from first trimester only for internship process. Reputed brand of college in insurance sector. 100? placemsnt since inseption. Highest package last year was 22 lakhs and mean being 12.5 lpa. Various types of company visit the campus for final placemntvstarting from September.

Various scholarship are available starting from 1 lakh rupees depending on background academic performance and other aspects of the student. Provide with summer internship in various organisation general insurance, life insurance, health, broker, consultant etc with avg stipend of 25 Thousand.

Interview Experience

Different cutt off based on type of exam cmat, car or xat. Gd and pi are conducted. Topic of GD ranges from current to financial to abstract not necessarily insurance may b social topics too. Interview has general question of why mba why nia, question regarding cvs, work ex if any and a bit about insurance

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I scored 87.90%ile in Cmat and as the COVID 19 pandemic was at the end I had to give PI online. The process was very smooth. The cut-off was 75%ile for CAT and 95%ile for Cmat. As I have done internship in a insurance firm and had cleared III (insurance institute of India) exams i had very good chances to get in NIA.
