My course, B.tech in ME is good as I am always interested in machines. If you are a good mechanical engineer then you have to be good in practical learning.

Internships Opportunities

I am in my 3rd semester, so I have not experienced internship, but I have seen many seniors going for internships, as our college provides.

Placement Experience

The placement scenario is good. As I am in the 3rd semester I don't know that much about placement percentage, but I have seen many companies coming to our college for placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If anyone has a decent rank and get selected for TFW scheme, then fee structure very much affordable, without TFW it will cost 3.5 lakhs approximately.

Faculty

The faculty is very much qualified and experienced , They are very interactive and helpful. They also help us gaining knowledge outside of our course and what should we do in our future.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
