Course I chose was electrical engineering. We focused on practical as well as theoretical learning. No research initiatives were taken.
Internships Opportunities
College encouraged us for internships. They did not provide us but we were asked to do internships on our own. Average stipend was around 5-10 k.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario was good. We had maximum placements in the whole district. Maximum companies visited our campus as compared to others in the district. Average package for our department was around 2-3 lacs per annum. If placements would have been provided for the students scoring below first class then lot many students would have been placed who r still searching for jobs.
College Events
We had Maffick as our cultural event and electrical expo as our technical event. It was a national event. It was a national event. Each department had their respective technical events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was not affordable for everyone. But it was somehow managed due to some scholarships provided by the college and the university.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provided us with scholarships like OBC, freeship, scholarship, etc. Which helped us a lot. The education loan can be taken from banks.
Hostel Facilities
No, I did not reside in the hostel. Hostel rooms were neat as we had friends from the hostel. They complained about the food frequently. Food was repeated again and again. We had the same dishes.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is good. They visit our college often. Few of them. And some of them were called for guest lectures in our college.
Faculty
The faculty was qualified and experienced as well. Teaching and non-teaching staff both were cooperative. They used to interact with us very well and willingly. The standard of teaching was good.
