- This college is always under construction.
- This could be quite overwhelming for people who are not used to crowds

Course Curriculum Overview
The couse curriculum is quite relevant. Topics are covered in depth by the teachers. Coding is taught to everyone regardless of their branch in first year. I had java and python as core subjects in my first year. And they have various branches, for example, sode branches of mechanical include, electronic vehicle, mechatronics etc. I also had an option of opting a minor degree, options provided were eee and cse related so i could mix and match. My branch is mechanical engineering with artifical intelligence and machine learning.
Placement Experience
Placement is secured. Ive heard from seniors that placement goes on for the entire 4th year. Mass hiring companies like tata, infosis, along with companies like maruti suzuki, mercedes, dalmer etc make offers for mechanical .
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees are also decided based on your rank and choice of branch. If your rank is more but you want a in demand branch like computer science, you might need to pay more. There are different categories for fee. I'm not aware about any scholarships provided by the institute.
Campus Life
Vit chennai has two major events, one in fall sem known as Technovit, which is a technical event and its really fun, food stalls from outside are also allowed. A much fun, cultural, social event is Vibrance. It is a 4 day concert plus dj event with various clubs organising their own games.
Hostel Facilities
I've been in hostels, even though hostel cant be compared with home, when compared to other hostels, vit hostel facility is by far the best I've ever been in. I've been in fancy coaching institutes and school hostels, i like it here. The food is really good.
Admission
The admission process way pretty simple actually. You had to submit a priority list from the give courses available to you according to your rank. All the fee, date and such necessary information were provided via mail.
