Course Curriculum Overview

Insurance is a growing sector. Loads of money to be made in the sector. Curriculum is good. Insurance is taught extensively but the Management subjects get neglected. Teaching methods could be improved. Exam level is fairly easy.

Internships Opportunities

Lots of different companies and projects were offered. HDFC, MIBL, TATA, BAJAJ, etc come to the campus. The roles offered range from sales to underwriting and other technical roles. Pretty much every company offered 10k+ stipend.

Placement Experience

Placements are great. We had a 100% placement guarantee. Highest this y ear was 22LPA. Average must be around 11lpa. Lots of huge insurance companies come to the campus. Overall decent experience with the placements

Fees and Financial Aid

Increased from 953000 to 1100000 this year. around 3 lakhs for hostel and mess. Lots of scholarships to be availed from. Full ride and highest marks scholarships. Tie ups with banks help students. No campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

My experience is very good. I lived with my parents nearby so couldnt experience the hostel life but my experience was fun nonetheless. The fest is okay, could be improved. Library is huge and the technologies in college are upto the mark. Lots of sports offerred.

Admission

The process seemed fair. You had to have over 80 in cat and 70 in cmat during my time. Reserved students get scholarships You'll find everything on their website. They could strandardise the process.

Interview Experience

Only interview no GD. Simple questions about myself and the course. Tried to check my insurance knowledge and comm skills. It was easy in my opinion. Interview was online not on Campus. This could be improved

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I scored 87.90%ile in Cmat and as the COVID 19 pandemic was at the end I had to give PI online. The process was very smooth. The cut-off was 75%ile for CAT and 95%ile for Cmat. As I have done internship in a insurance firm and had cleared III (insurance institute of India) exams i had very good chances to get in NIA.
