Course Curriculum Overview
i admit in this college for some reason like low fess and good placement and etc the curriculam didn't prepare us very well since it is a tier 3 college so you have to work hard in your skills to take a job . the teaching method is very boring if they do some practicale then definetly its worth it the exams are happend in per semester , approx 6 moth gap between a semester so dont worry about timing you have enough time to study
Internships Opportunities
i didn't know much about internship in our college but almost all student get internship from off campus and also some getting in on campus , but almost all are getting role like junior graphic designer ets ,
Placement Experience
from 5th semester you are eligible for placement TCS , TATA POWER , ADANI POWER , BY JUS and many companies are visited in college the highest package is arround 44LPA and average package is arround 8-9LPA lowest is 3LPA in 2023 almost 100% student placed my plan after getting degree getting a good job
Fees and Financial Aid
it is a government college so the fees is fixed no increase policy. my compleate fess for ECE is arround 60k its different for diffrent stram like ece , cse same fees for it its arrounf 1.2l for full course , and for EE,ME,CE its arround 30k and you also get a popular schollership called SVMCM the ammount is 60k per annum
Campus Life
in this college a tech fest called 'sristi' it was held in last of the year not fixed date and a culturale fest called "JECLAT" it was held on middle of year also dont have any fix date the college have one central library all kind of book available the worry about books its a government college so dont have any facility in classroom a good sports and extra curriculum community available in the college there are many social groups in the college all run by college students , the impact in student life is very much , all new things you learned in clubs
Hostel Facilities
hostel room are very oldish type they give you a bed a table and a cubboard in the room and you get LAN connection for unlimited internet meal quality is good enough for surviving in this situation so ont worry about food hostel is very affordable the cost is arround 32k for one year the process for registration you find in college website
Admission
you have to gave a entrance exam which is conduct by west bengal government and you have to secured a rank on that entrance exam , and the eligibility of the course is you have 50% above in 12th exam and you have domicile of west bengal you find all dates of examination and addmision dates in official college website . and reservation available for all cetagory , the benefit of reservation is high cuttoff . the entrance exam is quiet easy , you have to read from class 11 to score a good rank. you have study hard to crack this exam so keep study.
