- Campus life is very much enjoyable and sports faculty
- The infrastructure of exam is much favorable for stidents..students can decide their exam date
- The placement is very much good,, even better than maximum IIT's and NIT's
Dislikes
- The boy girl ratio is very much bad,, like 10:1.even IEE department has 0 girls in this 27 batch
- JU should look in the case of ragging, those students stay in hostel they faces ragging
- And a thing that I dislike most is the political parties inside the campus,, some students also involved in political party
Course Curriculum Overview
As iam a student of instrumentation engineering this branch is in salt Lake campus,,, the curriculum is good but some subjects like sociology, ed is lottle bit annoying,, and the first semester conduct only after 4 month of admission so this is hard for students,, the teaching method is perfect there is nothing defect,, the lab class and the theory class is very much friendly
Internships Opportunities
The internship offer is also very good for most of the department.. Maximum students gets internship offer from campus also some students gets from out of campus.. Many famous companies like Microsoft, Amazon, siemens, texus instrument offers students for internship.. Some students also get PPO
Placement Experience
The best part in JU is the Return of investment JU provides one of the best campus placement all over India,,, and the average package is around 10 lpa,, cse average- 25 lpa.. After 3 year students become eligible for campus placement.. Indian company and also some mncs visit JU and take some students.. Texus instrument, Google, Amazon, apple, Facebook, also visits.. Texus instrument offer average package 38 lpa and highest 45 lpa in this year,,, and I'm this year a student from IT crack an international package of 1.4 cr in pixel.. Above 90% students gets placement from campus,,, some branch like IEE, IT, CSE gets 100% placement.. My plan is after getting degree is doing Job for my family conditions.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is very simple only 3000 per year,, total fees for 4 year is 10000,,,so many scholarship are available in JU, government scholarship Like SVMCM, OASIS, JU scholarship, and private scholarship like siemens, Colgate are available,,, you can also get freeship for 4 year course for this you have to only a form,, svmcm scholarship gives 60000 for an engineering students,, there is no need to increase tution fees,,
Campus Life
The overall experience is very much good in campus,, all time there is a event like natak, song competition, drawing competition,, .. You can do every thing as you wish,,, JU gives you all types of freedom.. The most important fests in JU is-1.Sanskriti (March) , 2.Uturn (january), 3.CIIPPUS (february), 4.Srijan (march April) .. Threw are many clubs here like 1.Ecell 2.photographic cell 3.mountaining club 3.IEEE 4.mechanotronics 5.coding club etc.. There are two library in JU one in main campus one in SL campus,and you can find almost all your needed books here,all seniors juniors interaction in also so much friendly and seniors also very much helpful..
Admission
Admission through WBJEE for engineering. The cut off for JU is very high because this is the best is WB, and the nirf rank is also good, Engineering-10, University-4.. You can find the application form, fees, dates in college dunia as well as google or JU's official website.. Reservation is available in JU.. 2 semester conduct per year for FET..
