A strict college in terms of education

I'm in civil department and our department is very strict in terms of study. But there is lack of proper practical learning environment. No research initiatives were taken, at least in our batch.

The college doesn't provide any internship. There are no facilities available to get any internship from the college.

The placement level is below average. At this moment there is no permanent placement officer in the college. On an average, about 20% student got placed per year. The major company which visited our college is TCS and Tech Mahindra. Don't know about the exact package amount.

For a few years, there is no college fest program were organized in the college. But the teacher's day program, freshers, farewell, these are celebrated in the college. One cricket and football tournament are organized each year in the college.

The fee structure is very affordable. Our semester fee is 27000/sem. This amount is cheaper than most of the other private colleges but higher than the other government colleges.

The college provides freeship for students whose family doesn't have a good annual income to afford the study expenses.

No, I don't reside in the hostel. But I know about the hostel rooms. The rooms are on sharing, they are not single rooms. I don't know about the rent and food facility.

There is no proper platform for interaction between students and alumni. alumni contribute a little to the college development.

The professors are very qualified and experienced. Professors try their best to interact with students but still, there is a huge communication gap between students and teachers. The teaching method of the professors is a little difficult, so all students can't understand them. There is a lack of practical teaching environment. In most of the case, we just learn the theoretical parts and just don't get any idea of the practical application of that in the real world.
