It is quite a prosperous course. Totally focused on study. Yes, many initiatives were taken. You can play different games, several co-curricular activities.

Yes, the college is well known for its internships program which is well suited to us. The average stipend amount is 4500-5000 quite well for one and all. Easy way to earn while we learn

Placement Experience

Gives very good placements in the form of several internships being given also very good salaried jobs for excellent students. Its average package is around 350000-400000. excellent for middle-class family students.

College Events

It organises a series of programmes such as basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, table tennis, judo, annual day, cricket. It a well way of giving refreshments to students who feel bored with studies

Simple fee structure.. Affordable easily 27000/year.. Easily affordable by all.. Many scholarship given.. Several internships being given.. Unlike other colleges it is one of the best in my view due to its fee structure and faculty which are too good

Yes it provides us an interaction with our alumni which contribes its maximum in the decelopment of college as well as students.. Very supportive staff and professors.. Loving this college a lot..

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
