Course Curriculum Overview
This course is best as the faculties are best and there is so much opportunities and it is not very difficult. You can do many co-curricular activities in free time. And from my mining department avg package is 13 lakh so no need to worry about package also.
Internships Opportunities
You can get opportunities of intenship from campus in 3rd and 4th year. You can get opportunities to get intenship in Tata, Vedanta like companies. Also offcampus internships in software or other companies.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is very good with 80 percentage placement rate from all branches but my branch has 95 percentage placement rate. Those who didn't take placement they go for higher studies. If we will not get placement we can get opportunities in software sectors also.
Fees and Financial Aid
If your income is less than 1lakh or if you are from sc,St cast then you have scholarship and you have to give only 40,000 per year. Then if your income is in between 1 to 5 lakh then you have to give 1,20,000 per year. Then above this range people can afford to give full price so no scholarship from college. But every one is allowed to get state and central scholarship which is of 20,000 and 12,000 respectively.
Campus Life
There are total 25 clubs including all aspects of cocurricular activities. So you can give induction and get to it and follow your passion.Then there is sports sector which includes every possible sports which are famous and played in India.
Hostel Facilities
You can get 2 person room in 1st and 2nd year but in 3rd and 4th you can get single rooms. Mess food is not very much good but better than most college and affordable. Resistration for hostel is also very easy you have to come and select a room then you will get it .
Admission
Eligibility of course is you have to secure at least 75 percentage in 12th boards and have to clear jee mains. My course has cutoff of 94 percentile with reservation of OBC in jee mains.Application form can be got from jossa and you can get seat through jossa counselling.Exams hear are not that much had and you have to give one midterm and endterm per semester.
