Likes

Air conditioners are present in alle classroom
Very built infrastructure and bathrooms are very cleaned and we'll maintained
There is no space for ragging in the campus

Dislikes

Faculty members being egoistic and arrogant
Campus is not that spacious and it is located inside of a road
There is no scope of freedom at the hostel and it is not quite spacious

Actually the course which I choose was cilnical embryology. But after a few days they said that a degree of 3 years of bsc microbiology was needed for the completion of the course and then I had to be changed to bsc microbiology

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure per year is 90000. And the hostel fees for per year is 72000 for first year. The hostel fees is increased by 5% per year and it is quite expensive and worth of that much rupees. So I would say staying hostel for 1 year is necessary

Campus Life

The campus life at yenepoya is not that great or not that bad. The students at yenepoya are friendly and the faculties are a bit egoistic to some students. The canteen food is guite great and hygienic

Admission

The admission was taken directly by me. The College administration made us gather at a hall and they took a class about the rules and regulations of the campus. They alloted our hostels and collect our details and fees. The administration didn't inform me about when or where the academic year would kickstart so I missed a few classes over that issue

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
