I have applied earlier in Brainware University but i have choosen this college later on because SURTECH is under MAKAUT which gives a extra added value to our BTECH certificate. Our college recieves admission through counselling as well as direct admission through management quota. So to get admitted in this college you have to clear WBJEE. I applied in some other colleges and such (most of them low-level),some through the WBJEE allotment,and others through word of mouth.I stuck with this college because it felt "right" in every way.The admission process was simple,I went into the college,filled in some documents,and got admitted.From what I gathered,the admission criteria is that you pass physics and mathematics,and have an aggregrate 45% in physics,mathematics and (chemistry/computer science/biology) combined.I did not have much of counselling day,aside from a physical reporting to the admission cell....Read More

To get admission in SurTech (yes it is what now we call in short ) all you need is your diploma markshit. Though they ask you for Jelet you can also get admission through the management quota. But for an easy transition, I recommend you to just have your 10th/Diploma/Jelet certification with you.
