The thing that made me choose this is because of job opportunities, although it's a tier-3 College but still placements are there, Companies come and sometimes provide packages like more than 10LPA, and also CSE is also considered as one of the most interesting branch of Engineering.

College Provides internship opportunities but this isn't the same for every year, it depends on how the companies would recruit, intership are only grabbed by very few students like 5-6% students, Intership stipend value starts from 50,000 per month to 80,000 per month

There are college Placements which offer packages like 3-8 LPA every year, Companies like TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT etc come here mostly, AVG placement rate is 50-60% Highest package till date is 37 LPA by Amazon And AVG package is 4 LPA

Total fees of the college is 7 Lakhs ( CSE branch) Per semester it is 79,000(college fees) + 2,000 (Exam fee) For the first time i.e. first semester one have to pay 89,000 which includes 1st semester fees along with admission fees Scholarships are also available like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship to those eligibile students. Student Credit card is also available if anyone wants to get one. Most of the scholarships that are available in West Bengal are available here. Now about Campus Placement, the height package till now is 37LPA, average package is 4 LPA, Companies like TCS, Accenture, etc comes here for recruitment.

Campus is good, there is a playground, swimming pool, and the classrooms are also clean and well maintained AC rooms. For clubs there are many clubs in TIU: like Dhrubotara, Nrityaskha, Phoenix, Sawakriti etc etc. We have one freshers which is called by Enthusia The main cultural fest is Sahotsava The main tech fest is Vivarta And the Google Developers Club fest is also done

Admission process is through WBJEE, to get admission in B.TECH CSE branches one need to get a rank between 20k in WBJEE. Management quotas are also available. For exams: For every year is made up of two semesters, Each semester has two exams, One is the MTA(MID TERM ASSESSMENT) which is conducted in between the semester, of 20-30 marks depending upon situation and mindset of professors, MTA is generally conducted in CBT mode, and then comes the ESA(END SEMESTER ASSESMENT) at the end of each semester which is of 80 marks, Practicals are also conducted of 100 marks on the practical subjects, Overall the teaching quality is 3.8/5, Campus is good, facilities available are also Good and well. Hostel facilities are also available for those who want (note: Not inside college campus)
