Course Curriculum Overview
Along with core subjects , there'll be other subjects like ethics , gender equity , environmental studies etc.. which gives additional knowledge apart from the subject . Also, in each semester we have to opt any elective courses such as NSS , yoga , aerobics , communication skills , professional skills etc...exams are moderate to difficult
Internships Opportunities
Paid internship is only available. Internships can be done in yenepoya medical collage , yenepoya super specialtity hospitals or any other hospitals , mainly in Kerala . Internship is for one year . A log book with 365 cases should be completed during internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Usually in yenepoya , fees goes on increasing in each academic year . There are four types of seats available , Normal, affiliated, NRI, integrated. NRI seats are expensive than other seats . Scholarships will be provided for students with 90% or more on 12th PCB .scholarships will be available only in the alternate semesters .complete fees will be around 10-11 lakhs inclusive hostel fees
Campus Life
Each year there'll be cultural fests which lasts for 4-5 days .apart from that there won't be many programs like you may see in many othe degree collages .wide range of books are available in the library . There's also a digital library . Classrooms are smart ; lecturers will be teaching with the help of ppts. Sports programs will be conducted in each year , both intramural levels and intercollege levels .student portal and yengage websites are available for seeing student details , payment , attendance , study materials , assignment submissions etc..
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are very spacious with attached bathrooms. Both non veg and veg meal options are available . Food quality is excellent and one of the best hostel foods when compared to other hostels in manglore. Yenepoya hostels are a bit expensive .registration process will be done during the admission.
Admission
Eligibility,10+2 science stream with atleast 65% on physics , chemistry, biology combined . I took admission through an agent . Had a donation of nearly 2 lakhs . Admission details and fees structures will be clearly mentioned in the yenepoya portal .in total there're 8 semesters , where the last 2 semesters will be internship . Sem exams are out of 60 , and internals are out of 40 , which adds up to 100 . Pass mark will be 40.
