Likes

Air conditioner in everywhere. Everywhere it's clean
You have lift seperate for staff and students so that's also nice. You have filter in every floor for cold , hot and normal water. There is prayer hall for both men and women separate. The washroom are clean
The material they provide for studing are reliable and valid

Dislikes

The place of the college is in mudippu so it is kind of inside a village away from city
Away from home and only less days of holidays we get .
I don't like the hostel.. very unnecessary rules

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is reliable and valid. I love clinical psychology so i wanted to take this course. The curriculum this college provide is enough to prepare us for real world application and also for futher academic pursuits. I think they should make it more practical than theory bcuz I feel like this curriculum lack in practical skills . The frequency and timing of exam is nice and it is not much difficult.

Internships Opportunities

Bsc. Clinical psychology does not have that was intership opportunities or anything. Placements are not there. But there is one good thing that you can conduct observation in additiction centre. We can take case history

Fees and Financial Aid

The complete cost of my education is 80000 per year . Additionally I also have to pay fees for hostel which is 79500 . There are many scholarships available, plus two 90 for pcb then you have 25% concession. Also there are many more .

Campus Life

My experience with this college is wonderful. The atmosphere is very good and calm . The infrastructure is beautiful. There are only some programs but it will be very fun . Cultural is there then sports and many more. They provide you with AC so I love it . Many sports programs are there it is the most fun .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are fine but the warden are very strict and not helpful at all. The facilities provided in the room are very good. The meal and menu is wonderful and tasty. I guess if you take the whole manglore you can find good food here. The hostel fees is unnecessaryly more.

Admission

The admission process was fine . Everything went smoothly. There was no issue. Everything was organised. One of my family friend recommended this college , i contacted one of agent they helped me taking admission here. Anyone from any course can take admission but it will be more easy or effective for someone from science field , Application form application fees and application date , everything you can check in their website. The exam was easy and I think anyone who passed 12 th science field with good marks can easily pass the exam . You will get the exam sheet right after you pay the additional fees. The college is wonderful. The material they provide are valid and reliable. The facilities are also very helpful and affective. The college atmosphere is very calm and beautiful.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
