Firstly, I had an interest in this course as a loved the mechanical part taught in 11th and 12th. But tbh the course is relatively tough for tge ones who have no interest in the course but have taken admission cz of the rank they got in their JEE ADV examination. Secondly, the way knowledge is propagated in this IIt is a bit rattafication based. Like you are forced to mug up the concepts within very short period of time. The practical knowledge provided here is not very good and hence needs to be work upon.

An internship of one year is mandatory for all students before they can become fully-fledged doctors. * The internship stipend is around Rs. 23,000 per month The average salary package offered ranges between 15 LPA and 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered for our branch is 26.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Gravitation, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Google, etc. All companies visited IIT Delhi and IIT BHU.

All the information regarding placements and internship is provided on the internet. According to media reports, the highest package offered during placements 2024 on the first day was INR 1.68 crore per annum. Further, 1,044 offers were received during placements 2024. Apart from this, the participating recruiters presented 310 PPOs to the students of the batch 2024. The top recruiters during IIT BHU placements 2024 included Qualcomm, Uber, Goldman Sachs, and Google.

All of the information related to fee structure and scholarship programmes is available on the official website of IIT BHU. Moreover, once you enter into college all the information is provided to you via emails which are sent on a regular basis by a student body called 'SAKHA'.

Three fests are conducted here on a large scale namely, Kashiyatra(cultural fest), Technex(technical fest), Spardha(sports fest). The library here is situated almost in the central part of the IIT campus. And has all the books that are the part of curriculum.

Hostel life is pretty fucked up but yes exceptions do exist for some hostels. The rooms are pretty small and non spacious for the accommodation. Moreover, the hygiene facilities provided here in bathrooms and washroom are not upto the mark. Dogs are easily available in the hostel and you may also find them ine day or the other sleeping beside you.

The entrance in prestigious institutes like IITs is only through an examination called JEE ADV. In IITs and NITs you also get reservation benefits og being GENEWS, SC, ST, OBC, PWD. Wach year of graduation consists of two semesters and each semester has two break aparts of mid sems and end sems. The admission process is a bit tedious for the ones who are not well aware of the tech nowadays. Apart from this after confirming your seat in the IITs after passing through rigorous admission process you will still have to wait in long queues on the day of registering yourself in the institute.
