Course Curriculum Overview
The reason I took psychology was to improve my personal growth and understanding human behaviour. The subject is very versatile. The curriculum is extremely interesting and knowledgeable. I wish there was more exposure. There will be 2 internals and 1 semester exam. Practical exams will only be there for the even years. The pattern of question is hard but challenging.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee for a year is approximately 50000 and it should be paid off in each semester before the next semester exam. You will have 6 semesters each for a course of 3 years. Honours can also be opted according to your wish and affordability. The hostel fee is 90000 for each year of your course.
Campus Life
There are very less cultural events in this institute of our university. It gives more importance for academics. There will be interfest between our college and other colleges between every 2 months which you can effectively participate and get good exposure. They only conduct one or maximum two cultural events or fests once a semester. A semester constitutes of 6 months. The books and materials available in the library is significantly usefull and has a wide variety of selections but not enough copies. Benq boards and projectors are available. There are sports activited and practices conducted frequently. The drawback is there are no clubs or social groups or anything of that sort. This colleg does not give a social exposure.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel accommodation is moderately well. But the food is could be better. The options available should be accurate and tasty. Quality should be maintained. There are many rooms available with capacity for either 5 or 12 students. Both bunker beds and single beds are available with one bathroom per room and a kitchen. For one year the amount to be paid is 90000. It needs to be in a single instalment. The outing time is very less and wont be permitted to go out other than sundays for a few limited hours. The hostel is located at a faraway place from the city so the accessiblilty is hindered.
Admission
The admission process was entirely easy. You can just enter into the official yenepoya website and register online and the selection will be made according to the cut off percentage of the college. The process was smooth and easy. Did not face any difficulties.
