Course Curriculum Overview
My course has its own benefits. But thing to consider is the credits. A btech student would do 160 credit in 4 years , whereas I have to do 221 credits in 5 years . That's just such a huge difference. But it will be good if u learn to manage stuffs . So it's all upto you. The curriculum basically would give you a outline. Developing those things are upto you frankly. You are to choose the specific subjects you like a dig in more . It's always good to be expertise in one field. So try to find out that one specific field where you could get yourself stiffer. Exams might be a little hectic sometimes. Personally I do feel like I don't get proper break between exams. Exams aren't so difficult, thing is we have to figure out what they want in the answer. If then you could score easily. But in general if u are proper then score won't be an issue .
Placement Experience
For btech students it's 6th sem I guess. There is plenty of companies like intel Benz and so and so . There is tons of companies to recruit. It's just based one's skill that they get placed or not . I have plans of applying jobs out of campus placements most likely just to see if I could do better . Package is more in vit vellore. But students from here go there to attend placement. So it's good placements are good .
Fees and Financial Aid
As far as tuition fees are concerned, if u look at the reputation and campus and various factors the fees is okay for my course . But for BTech it would obviously go slightly crazy. And I don't think there is a scholarship so no idea about that. I'm a fresher so no idea about placement so far either .
Campus Life
It's a great place to enjoy to be honest . You will plenty of events , you can go crazy . There are books available. And the collection is perfect to cover all your college studies. Library has the everything that u need to complete you course u can go at night and study too. Extracurricular activities are a little different case here. It's managed by students. So things might be a little political sometimes I mean sometimes just an opinion. But u can play anytime until u hellish hostel time lets you . Clubs are a great choice it's really such nice thing in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
There is WiFi from 4 am to 12 am. You have 200 gb of Internet every month more than enough . I stay in a 2 bedroom hostel. It's a non ac room . It's really good . And food is really great compared to other college . But it's expensive comparatively. I'm in a 2 bedroom non ac - so it's 80000 for accommodation. Then another 80000 for my food. Yeah it's expensive comparatively but it's far better.
Admission
For my specific course there is no entrance exams. It was completely based on 12th marks . I'm not aware of Reservations Benefits. For the course I'm enrolled in it was basically and purely just 12th scores . If people want to join B.tech courses they should take VITEEE. I also attempted VITEEE , but my rank wasn't good enough for BTech seats so I had to go with my 12th scores . As far as VITEEE is concerned put more effort maths and it's very much like JEE, so if u have prepared for that you must be fine . But I personally felt maths was harder in VITEEE than JEE .
