Being true to myself about MAIT

I will note be specific but tell you guys about the whole college scenario as it is all in all same for all , it is a yes that our courses are outdated for thw current scenario and it is the case of majority courses in majority colleges but i also agree on the fact that these courses provides you a foundation and you cannot become picasso without learning the basic strokes , so the fact is they are outdated but it does the work if you put in something by yourself and teachers are more than happy to help yourself and there's everything on internet, so it does the work if you help yourself and update yourself with the current market.

There are various companies that visits the campus namely ZS associates, jio , urbans company, morgon stanley , Goldman sachs , blinkit, walmay, amazon , mobikwik , jp morgan,ion trading , coding blocks , Infosys, ibm , Deloitte, tcs digital Zs associates is a frequent recruiter and offers two packages, one for 12.8 lpa and other for around 20lpa . Amazon offered 44 lpa and 28 lpa but they were under pool placements Atlassian, walmart and golman sachs offered around 24lpa Jp , ion trading and mobikwik offered around 14 lpa Cred , Infosys, tcs digital, byjus offered from 7 to 12 lpa Overall, they offer a decent college placement opportunities.

Campus placement are quite okay and they are improving by time , in the year 2022 it hit the best placement and attracted a huge crowd of students towars mait , 100+ companies visited the campus and made around 1500+ offers and the highest as by atlassian which was 60 lpa but three students got 1.3 cr foreign offers off-campus , the students become eligible for placement after sixth semester but it is not very hard and fast Placement percentage should be around 85-90 I plan on getting a good job role in a good company and if i don't make it , I wil pursue higher education and achieve the same but the foremost things is getting a job during b.tech only.

FEE STRUCTURE 1st year - 1,65,000 From second years onwards - 1,45,000 for all the b.tech courses and there's no fee increase policy and there's no additional or hidden charges ( best fee structure imo) I am not aware of any scholarships that college provides effectively but there can be some on the basis of the student's past performance but there are few scholarships offered by government on the basis of the family income and for reserved categories and single girl/girl child and various other scholarship which are available annually and comtinues on the basis of academic performance and there are various other education loans provided by banks like SBI , PNB AND BOB , i know few of my friends who got the education loan , it is a little hectic process but you can get it As of now i have no employment opportunity from the college, but i do have few responsibilities like i am a part of various society like tech , ngo and cultural which gives you a holistic approach.

The college organises a combined cultural and tech fest with the names "techsurge and mridang" which takes place in the month of march in second or third week The college has a seperate cylindrical building for library which looks very good and have a wide range of variety of book and different sections for each branch of science, technology, administration, etc and they can be easily issued by your library card The classroom are actually very good , ventilated , good benches, light is good and most important thing is literally every classroom is equipped with atleast two working air conditioners , even the whole college has a good air conditioning, so kudos on that . It provides good opportunities for sports but not the best , they have a volleyball court , basketball court, football field, lawn tennis and badminton (but they are paid) , common rooms have indoor sports and there's a gym too but only for hostellers Campus life could have been better.

First and foremost things , you have to appear for JEE(Joint entrance exam) which is Conducted by NTA and takes place twice a year and has an application fees of around 1200(not sure for now) and then they have fill form for GGSIPU counseling to which the college is affiliated to , it offers various courses and based on your rank/percentile in JEE-MAINS, you are given the branches, the general trends has been becoming good and overall things in GGSIPU is gradually improving with better and competitive cut-offs , during my time the closing rank for CSE was around 68k and for IT it was around 75k but in the academic year 2023 , new branches haves been introduced because of which the cut-offs have gone down but they have overall been the same and for the admission process, it was pretty smooth , you are usually called once or twice before the actual college starts and there's different scenario for internal upgradation, they can improve at the hospitality during the admission process
