This fee structure is specifically for chemical engineering.The fees for hostel is 35000 for one semester in which 10000 is caution money which you will get back after the semester. The schoralships are also give based on your performances or if you are dealing with any financial aids.Campust placemet is quite decent neraly 91 % student gets places while the average package is 9 lakhs.

Campus life is quite decent as compared to other engineering colleges .The hostel rooms in first year are quite conjusted with four people in a room . The campus Is outside the jalandhararound 15-16 km hence neighboring region is not quite developed. Some of the clubs are quite engaging like bhangra, fine arts and ports while other club lack involvement .the budget given to clubs is also quite decent many of the times students have to arrange money for the events. The library has developed just recently and now has quite good availability of books while teading room is very good with many modern tech included

Hostel 1 is nicest of all the hostels for 1 st year while hostel 5 negative of all with poor quality of food and lack of hygiene . Meal are okay okay not too bad not too good.Registration process for the hostel is through the portal of official nitj. Hostel fees is 35000 including 10000 caution money which you will get after te semester ends

The admission was based on the rank of jee exams.the admissions were done in two phases. In first phase tech branch students were called for admission process and in second phase core students were invited.You can access hostel and other fees through online portal of nitj. The hostel fees can not be pain in cash and you have to pay it on the portal.the cut off for btech chemical was 67000 general ,no quota applied while you can avail benefits reservation on basis of gender,caste and if you are pwd.The eligibility of the course is that you should have 75 % in 12th while having non medical subjests i.e physics,chemistry and Mathematics
