- Excessive strictness and discipline enforced, which is not always essential

Course Curriculum Overview
The specifiic aspect of the curriculum is that the computer science part which influenced my descision to choose this course. The curriculum prepares you really well for real-life applications. Most of the faculties are quite good, but for some I feel there are areas of improvement. The semester exams are quite difficult here
Fees and Financial Aid
Total Fees : Rs 705000 Monthly fees: Rs 85000 First Time fees: 105000 ( included within the total fees) West Bengal Student Credit card scheme available. All sorts of scholarships applicable, college also provides students with various scholarships based on thier merit. I am currently in first year, so no such campus employment for me, but college provides decent campus employment starting from second year.
Campus Life
Annual Fests Include 1. Ecstasia ( The Annual Cultural Fest) 2. Eutopia (The literary fest ) 3. Ureckon ( The marquee event of UEM, the famous techno-management fest ) And many other small scale festivities as well. Overall campus life is good, just it has some strictness. Library is vast, with updated collection of books The classroom are digitally equipped , and the teachers use them for the full advantage of the students Various sports tournaments are organized throught the year
Admission
I took IEMJEE and got admission. Admission process is simple, one needs to go to the management building of the IEM and get his or her application done, No such reservation benefits. The frequency of the exam is 3hrs and moderate standard paper
