The NSUT experience

I am enrolled in Btech CSE. Tech is skill of the hour, with major demands in the market. This with a curiosity for problem solving is what influenced me the particular course. The college provides a diverse set of courses and also remain true to learning. Areas of improvement would include a bit relevancy with the newer advancements, more of lab work. Testing is done very well with the right amount of difficulty.

For SDE roles. Startups like udaan, Zomato, sprinklr Then FAANG offers, Amazon SWE, Google shecodes. A lot of off campus opportunities available as well. PORs at the tnp, nss and similar initiatives and societies. I have interned at 2 startups: KAGRand Elevate the future, both in the business development and operations role

5-6th sem is the intern season. 7-8th is the placement drive. Given the current recession out of mind, ample of offers are made. Tech placements are the highlight of the college. FAANG offers, startups and fintech roles. Highest around 60lpa and average of around 13-18 lpa. A confident 75% students placed. I plan on doing higher studies, with finance and markets.

The tution fee around 10k per year. It is costly compared to other government engineering colleges. The entire tution fee would be around rs. 9,60,00. E-district scholarships, central scholarships based on economic and community backgrounds. A few seats for academic based scholarships. PORs taken in societies. You could also join NSS or Tnp for formal Position of responsibilities.

Annual fest: moksha in march Cultural fest: resonance in November Tech fest: innovision in march Libraries contains ample books on the course work. Projectors, camera's, speakers and mics equipped. Mostly all possible sports facilities available and encouraged. Societies for every possible hobby/skill: debate, drama, dance, sing, photo

Hostels are very well and comfortable. Both single and double occupancy available. But are costly and difficult to get, as priority for outside region students. Mess is quite decent. Timely changes and checks in the menu. Registrations through Ums and official website of the college. The locality for a pg would be dwarka mor, dwarka sector 3-4

Btech eligibility for PCM students. JEE score with a 75% above in 12th boards is evaluated. JAC board of counseling. Other than the Reservation benefits according to the central government, the college also has provisons for inside Delhi region students. Based on JEE mains which is conducted twice a year, eg. In January and April. Other than JEE, some more academic aspects could be looked upon while during the admission process hence providing more opportunities for intake.
